Nourish didn't even see play in HS for the longest time, so Nourish isn't the problem Is it a good card? Yes, but it is also a class card, and part of Druid's class identity of mana manipulation and choose one effects The problem, partly as Kripp mentioned, is that Druid has a package of really good cards, cards that are really good at doing two things: drawing, and stalling Ferocious Howl, Branching Paths, Ultimate Infestation, Wrath, Excess Mana, and yes Nourish, that's a whole bunch of cards that allows the Druid to draw through his deck with minimal effort Same things with armour gain: Ferocious Howl, Branching Paths, Oaken Summons, the DK, UI, and a bunch of other cards that give armour that doesn't even see play because Druid decks don't have space for them It's just kind of a power overload Imagine giving Mages Mind Blast, Eviscerate, Sinister Strike, and Kill Command that procs off Elementals, and then giving Mages a few more efficient Spell Damage +2 minions It's just stupid We've already seen this kind of stupidity in the past, when Mages got the ability to discover like half a dozen extra copies of Ice Block; letting the Mage play two Ice Blocks a game was OK, but when they play like four extra copies, you want to punch your screen; unfortunately, Ice Block became the casualty instead of Blizzard's stupid decision to allow extra copies of Ice Blocks It's almost the same situation here, Druid had a bunch of really good cards like Kripp said, and taken individually, they aren't a problem, but when given to the Druid all at the same fkking time, we have a problem Except Spreading Plague, Druid as a class should just not have access to a card like that, full stop

about the ice block, the tools for mages to get tons of extra copies of X spell are still there, but its not a problem anymore is it ? think about it :) I don't think nourrish is the problem, blizz just loves giving druids excellent cards, because the base set was originally OP and is still strong even after multiple nerfs. And when you have excellent cards and the tools to be able to play them you have current druids

With how long that priest matchup lasted, I'm REALLY curious how it woulda turned out of it was a jade druid. The two non-fatigue, infinite value decks. Could jade ramp up before the rogue beats him down? Also really curious if the priest could somehow have reached the turn limit. But until someone (who isn't me) counts the # of turns, then we shall not know.

I didn't start playing kings bane rogue until near the end of witchwood, but I tell ya, when I combo my minions into my hand, and prep sprint my way towards fatigue, the slow decks all think they have me. Until I Valeera and with two kingsbanes, I never fatigue. It's pretty great pounding away with a 16 attack weapon with lifesteal every turn.

The Bane of Kings! And all control decks... - 1 Rogue Spell: Throw your Weapon at all friendly minions. Reequip it and draw a card. A miracle spell. Synergy with Lifesteal. Yup that's it. But I hate Kingsbane. - 7 7/7 Battlecry: Both players reequip their Weapons. Makes 9/3 Kingsbane a 1/3, ruins the consistentcy and annoys twig users. Also good with your twig. Twiggly. EDIT: Changed the cost of a spell. In case of people wandering what's the point of it: - Destroys your Eggs, - Heals you with Cutlass or Lifestealing Kingsbane, - Reequip your Weapon, - Draws you cards in Miracle.

As a wild player, kingsbane is necessary due to it's high winrate against renolock, a deck that has a high wr against almost every other deck. So standard tech against kingsbane wouldn't be fair to other formats as it's not even a broken deck in standard.

@@ethanberkley2956 My favourite deck is even renolock... But yeah. First card is a fun tech for Kingsbane decks, so I think it's noice. Second is mostly a counter to Twig, but also works well with high durability weapons, as a silence to buffed weapons or with Deathrattle wrapons.

There are so many more skillful Rogue decks. Like Big Rogue or Malygos Rogue. Kingsbane is like Jade Golems. But it also heals you.

A question as a cheap-low rank Kingsbane player: This video is just an example of how strong Kingsbane can be in the late game, but the real problem for me are the aggro decks, since i even removed the Blade fury because most of the times I can't find Kingbane or the buffs in the first, like, 7 turns Is it because I don't have the preparation? Should I really craft them? I mean, to use the turn 4 to play a sprint How do other Kingsbane players deal with aggro? The giggling inventor doesn't count

Step 1- draw the nuts. Kingsbane, Toxicologist, Deadly Poison, and Leeching Poison. Easy. Step 2- Doomerang. I also run a Backstab or two and that helps a bunch, but you're right that Prep is helpful, especially for prepping out FoK or activating Elven Minstrel.

Prep is a must in almost every rogue deck, and please, almost NEVER prep Sprint on 4, unless the board is empty, play something else or you'll lose too much tempo by doing that. Trust me it's way better to do It on turn 8/9, when you can draw AND play something on the same turn

Looks to me kingsbane may have a memory leak atrached to it. Gives me an idea for a card. A warlock curse card or neutral one. Spell add card to opponent's hand at start of there turn must pay 2 life or discard a card from deck. 5 mana to get rid of.

Kripp logic: Spreading Plague isn't a problematic card, because cards that counter it exist. Or conversely, cards that usually wouldn't see play are played because they counter Spreading Plague

I hate things with no counters other than aggro. Even Mech'thun has its counters even if people won't play them. Playing control there is no other counter to kingsbane other than to pray you mill the weapon or somehow get enough big threats on the board (unlikely against rogue) before they pop valeera endless no fatigue kingsbane rogue mode. My suggestion is a new ooze: Mystic Ooze: 5 mana 4/3: silence your opponents weapon and destroy it.
