Behind nand is Soc. Should always use as little heat to the motherboard as possible, so the solder of other chips is not impacted

Beautiful. I don´t see a time benefit from grinding of the NAND instead of removing it with heat, though.? Additionally I don´t understand that you put the phone blank onto the air tightness tester, after protecting it so well through the work.

There is so much risk in replacing the NAND chip, I probably wouldn't go for it. There's no guarantee that it will fit as well and precisely as it did from the factory. Errors may show up over time. Of course, the service and execution are excellent.

in terms of the nand chip sourcing, I think you can source one from the official upgrade card for the storage on a Mac pro, but it is extremely expensive. Unfortunately it's the only way to guarantee a chip that is clean and never used. With these you are taking a chance. But at the same time I am not sure if it would apply to the chips on an iPhone or if they would even work.
