Pst Kingsley is Igbo,Pst Olumide is Yoruba but they all sat down together in unity and in love because of one purpose,vision and agenda to foster unity love,empathy to humanity and mankind.For the purpose of their coming together no one said your Igbo your Yoruba and 'im sure at that point in time none of them even remembered where they came from,what they had in mind was the sense of urgency to relate with themselves and with others..Bible says how wonderful it is for brethren to dwell amongst one another.Nigeria is great and has great people.Each and every tribe is beautiful and our unity in diversity is Power but until we can come to the point of understanding that we may not become a formidable force as we ought to.Everyone on this platform is Great,remember that.I'm from the North and i love both of them so much they have been a great blessing to me.Great video.Thank you very much.

How to move on: 1. Be healed and it takes a while 2. Find out what went wrong. What mistake did you do? What lessons did you learn? 3. When you meet someone, be open, transparent, full disclosure with them. Investigate each other, ask the right/relevant questions. Help each other heal from past hurts 4. Don't compare your past with your present. Know each other together because everyone you marry came with their own baggage. So enter by faith. 5. Commit to make it work 6. Pray to marry the right person Marrying a divorcee: 1. See things from their own lens 2. Recognize they have a baggage. Are you ready for all the stigma and all? 3. Have mature mentors 4. Use the wisdom of God to strengthen others How can we reduce level of divorce: 1. Premarital counseling. Churches should have in house facilities. Help your parishioners to prepare for marriage. You can't manufacture the weapons of war on the battle field. Have post marriage training for couples (Marriage Enrichment program) 2. Ensure genuine salvation, discipleship st church level because many in church are not transformed

Healing is when you touch a wounded part and it no longer hurt. Healing from a failed marriage or relationship is when you remember them but laugh in response to the thoughts and memories
@jackieomugah11 ай бұрын
It's true. I was in a relationship that failed and it took me about 5 years to heal from it. The journey wasn't easy but God, family and friends walked with me every step of the way. These days, I laugh at the memories...But the most important thing is for one to know where they went wrong because no one is perfect, and learn from it...even though the other person in the relationship was the one who may have caused the relationship to flop.
@obeabayomi590111 ай бұрын
That's a whole lot of time... Just that we need prayer and scriptural evidence of the right partner before we allow other games like dating, questions, and introduction to set it. If we can be serious in prayer and the word ministry choosing right at once won't be a problem. Emotion and trend is the challenges relationship and marriage have nowadays.

Thank you for sharing your marriage journey. After listening to this. I have few points to share. Churches need to have a marriage counselling unit for the married ones. Problems should be discussed in marriage not swept under the carpet. Prayers sessions are good but emotional damage needs to be dealt with continuous counselling sessions until healing takes place. Most Christians marriages are going through tough times and couples are enduring the marriage instead of enjoying it. They are only patching things because of what people will say. Divorce is a very tough decision in marriage and one will live with the scares for life. We need to feed our marriages with the correct ingredients in order to get the expected meal served to us. I pray God gives us the wisdom, knowledge and kindness to feed into our marriages.

That from her perspective, his insistence on her going to church while pregnant could have been seen as abuse. That’s a stretch, but could there be other issues he didn’t handle well.That moment made me trust him more. Ppl demonize past partners, many times not intentionally, we protect ourselves naturally. When ppl talk about past relationships, u can almost see horns on the heads of their partners. Marry a kind person. God forbid, if things go bad, a kind ex would be considerate, no matter what.

@@danielilori3388 i agree all churches have them, but i can only talk about my experience with MFM, and mine is like pastor olumide's my children live with my ex abroad, so it makes it doubly difficult. They are 28,24 and 19. saw them last in 2014. I dont have any other children and not remarried as well. so i get totally what pastor olumide is saying.God help us all and i wish them all blessing and peace. Even if i meet them not sef, where do you start from ? what do you say? the damage has been done. Also, when people go through a divorce, we get very selfish and unfortunately, its the children that suffer. Most times ,the mother uses them as tools and weaponise them against their father. Break down of a marriage is NEVER one way, both parties have a part to play in the breakdown, in my opinion. Anyway, i wish us all well. alot of men are suffering this matter and perhaps the church should be more practically in its teachings.

It’s so sad to see what he went through. I don’t know how far he has tried to find the children from his previous marriage but I’ll say he should look for them on social media. Those children growing up with a a single parent (and with the attitude of their mother) will most likely be dysfunctional. She probably will also have poisoned there minds against him which would have been more traumatic cause it happened in their formative years. Dr Olumide should also consider implications of dysfunctional parenting if I may say on those kids, especially growing up in the states. Some kids go into drug, some are in jail etc. so he should look for his kids everywhere! I hope he sees this sha. May the Lord compensate him for his losses

This really touched me so much 😭, please the children should see this and make peace with there Dad bcuz fatherly blessing is very important, I know what my mom faced in the hand of my Dad and his family until she died but we had to let go and we are in peace with my dad. So please if the children should see this, they should come back to there Dad. 🙏.

Hmmm, these are people I knew far back in Lagos at Pedro Gbagada when we were next-door neighbors, who could ever imagine that the devoice was coming their way. I really admired the pastor and his wife, hhen. Thank God your life, pastor.
