If you can use this as an opportunity to record a tire change on the Kingsong S16 Pro then it would be appreciated.

I will reach out to the team at ERIDERZ and see if they have fixed it yet. It is a great idea! Thanks - I am also interested in how easy the change is.

I think I know what happened to your inner tube (I speak from experience). That tire is a rebranded CST C131. It has a VERY thick sidewall, and at "normal" pressures it doesn't feel very good. I am 250 and I ride it at 22psi; my other wheels are around 35 psi. And I can see from the video you were probably around 18-20psi, and you are lucky you didn't get rim damage. Because the pressure is low the tire bead doesn't have as much friction against the rim. Basically your tire rotated/slipped on the rim from the torque! And that dragged the edge of the tire bead along the inflated inner tube, causing long shallow slices, and a failure somewhere. You can't patch it. I have since glued one edge to the rim with RTV gasket maker and no more slipping.

Great video, thanks. Picked up one of these in March for my first wheel, and I love it. The power and range are enough for my needs, and I like the weight and size.

Good choice! I would probably buy this if I was starting out today. such a great value wheel with some good options for versatility. Good luck with your first few adventures I hope it all goes smoothly for you.

I am considering this wheel for commuting purposes. How much range do you get out of this?

I have the kingsong s16 pro and yes its fun to ride around town and off dirt. I crashed and dropped if a lot and still runs like a champ
@archmagus15102 ай бұрын
this is probably the best wheel after 16x...s18 underpowered....s22 a lot of problems...s19 not bad but too much plastic...probably better deal than v11y
@nelson20955 ай бұрын
130km range at 1480Wh? LMAO...I don't think so. I'd like to see someone test this.
@eucaus5 ай бұрын
Well they do always exaggerate! I would like to range test it. Mine wasn’t fully charged this day but I was going through the battery pretty quick as I was rolling fast.
@nelson20955 ай бұрын
@@eucaus I wish they do test runs BEFORE announcing the range specs. ie. High speed, aggressive runs and normal commuter speed runs...combine the range results and take the average. It take at most 2 days to do this. But I guess honesty does not equate to elevating the hype train, so digress. On a positive note, at least it gives YT creators content to chew on before the wheel is out, so there is that.

I can confirm the wheel is a very good wheel for the price. I can also confirm the pedals are a bit of a letdown.
@eucaus5 ай бұрын
I guess at least the pedals are upgradable fairly easily. For the price though hey.. such a great deal I think. I would have been stoked with this for my first wheel.
@ManMadeWheel3524 ай бұрын
I disagree about the pedals , I have wheeled in boots , tennis shoes , and even crocks , the spikes are a bit aggressive for bare foot 🦶 standing and seated riding. but hey if y’all wanna know I’ll give it a shot ? 😅

Love everything about this wheel except for the slider they used for suspension. Not a fan of it, questionable durability and possible future issues with it. Everything else is top of the line.🙂👍

Hey man, thank you for another video and review! Do you think you´ll make a video with the V11Y? I know its not a completely 'new' wheel, but would love your input regarding the upgraded V11 :) Ride safe _o/
@eucaus5 ай бұрын
hey 👋 thanks for checking another vid :) I am a huge V11 fan still, mine is STILL rolling. I have chatted to INMOTION to see if I can pimp my old V11 to V11Y specs but it can’t be done. I think ERIDERZ have a V11Y and perhaps I can ask them nicely :)
@gopro84975 ай бұрын
@@eucaus Yeah I read about people asking about upgrading their current V11´s to the newer one.. Sadly it cant be done. I´m sure Eriderz will come through and let you borrow a new wheel, even though you brought the S16 back with a flat, haha. Looking forward to new content mate, ride safe!

hey man! I really like kingsong stuff. They still seem to pull out nice wheels for sure. S19 and S16 really impressed me for what they were. I think F22 should be pretty nice. Hopefully I’ll get a roll for the channel thanks to Eriderz.

The tire looked like it was low on air , at the beginning of your ride …
@eucaus4 ай бұрын
It may have been I surprised the store turning up and things were rushed as they were so busy and didn’t really take time to set it up.
@rayluo46653 ай бұрын
Possibly. It reminds me that I had same problem with a brand new wheel (a different model but that doesn't matter). I suspect that new wheels were not inflated enough when they left the factory, and buyers are expected to pump in more air before the first ride.

This wheel is much too heavy for a beginner, 33Kg! The 26Kg Falcon begode is much more interesting for a beginner and even an amateur who needs to have fun with a more agile wheel. In addition the suspension is not better with the plastic wheels from Kingsong...and the Falcon goes up to 30Mph which is more than enough for a beginner. And the battery allows you to travel around 30 miles which is also a good point for a beginner.

agree 100 percent - I have no idea why they say a 70lb wheel is a beginner wheel
