Kingsong S9: The Gateway Drug Into EUCs (Review)

In this video, I give a full review of the Kingsong S9 EUC using a demo unit generously provided by Next Gen Mobility. As I rode it, I found that it is small, weak, and easy to overpower. But that's not the full story. It was never made for me to ride it in the first place. It's a kids' toy! I got off the S9 and put my 9 year old daughter on it, and she found herself right at home on it. It was by far the easiest EUC for a child to learn how to ride, and therefore this is possibly the best kids' EUC out there for the price.

The wheels on the S9 are like the wheels on the Segway Drift W1 wheels. In that they are a hard rubber wrapped around an axle. Just terrible to ride outside. However inside, and on smooth surfaces they are a blast.

Wow. Only thing I would get this cause u can bring it on a plane. Range must suck but having no wheek at all sucks even more. I aint shipping a $4k wheel to some remote country and expecting it to actually arrive there and back home....

Wow, and EUC that you can dunk AND ride! What a concept! On the court, I can RIDE the ball to hoop, and then score a 3 pointer! I don't think it would take well to being dribbled though.

It's good that someone is reviewing this but even though it's marketed as a kid's toy, it's still Not really sellable. It's still too underpowered, needs to be built a tad better and definitely needs to be better functional wise. It's not smooth and rather herky Jerky. Thank you for the review.

To be honest this product is a 100% ripoff from the Jyroball from 2019, but that product never made it to the market for some reason. I reached out and couldn't get KS to admit to copying the design, but we all know the truth if you glance at it. The "herky jerky" part can partially be chalked up to my daughter's relative inexperience on EUCs in general, but it is still a very "stiff" feeling device no matter how you look at it. For some reason she prefers this compared to the A2 because of the ease of use, despite having WAY less power. 🤷

​@@WheelGoodTime Respectfully an A2 might feel like a whole lot of wheel to a young lady. Do you have an Inmotion V5/V5F? Maby a V8? I don't have an A2. But I do have an Mten 4. It's a much "meaner" feeling wheel than my V5f. Its almost like the difference between playing with a puppy (V5F) and a badger (Mten 4). 😂 Anyways great review. I just ordered a S9. In part due to your review. Thanks for the quality production.

@@arcflash2053 how young are we talking? I think the S9 is great for the smallest among us. A V5f or V8F would also be good options as well. My daughter (9) has an A2 and loves it, but she still has a hard time mounting and dismounting (largely due to lack of consistent practice) - and that's an issue she never had with the tiny S9. Go figure 🤷

@@WheelGoodTime Good point. My daughter is seven and having some difficulty my V5f. It is probably proportionally larger and heavy to her than a V12 would be for me. I think that S9 will do the trick.
