I remember crying when this show was cancelled. I didn't understand why Luigi (who is my favorite character) was no longer going to be on TV, because I thought he was just pure awesome. Ah, to be a kid again, where my biggest worries and sorrows were loosing the Mario Brothers on TV.

it's peach. the character's designs were based on their sprites in Super Mario Bros 1 and 2. And Princess Toadstool's game sprite had red hair instead of yellow.

Just out of curiosity, what did Luigi do to the fish at 0:51? Was it some physical attack, or was it the motion of the water when he passed? Also, I can't decide which cartoon I like better. the SMBSS has got more action, battles, and adventures, but TAOSMB3 has got a traditional (and awesome) Mushroom Kingdom to live in, with the Mario gang having ended their constant journeys by now. They usually reside in Toad's nice house. Plus, I always thought King Koopa's alter egos were too repetitive and random, and not "who he was." If you ask me, they should've combined all three Super Mario Bros games into one show, instead of basing season 1 off SMB and SMB2 and season 2 off SMB3. With the SMB3 power-ups, there's be a bigger reason to call it " Super Mario Bros Super Show" (since Fire Mario was all you got in the first cartoon). I guess Mouser and Tryclide would just be minor and random villains, not significant ones, so certain Koopalings could take their places. As in, the Koopalings are the Koopa Pack. Just my thoughts on what would've improved the show, though. Any questions? I'd enjoy discussing this.

Hmmm...maybe, it depends. On the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, they play songs (actual) songs on the show. In the Super Mario World cartoon series, the koopa kids sing songs too.

Y'know. The animators of this show make alot of flaws, the show is so cheesy, and some of the voice acting is more to be desired. But, I actually enjoy this show. I'm not sure whether its my ever present want for a super mario animated series, or its just that it works. I mean, imo, this show actually makes great use of the source material. And since the franchise was still young(nes), they had to make up some stuff for the episodes and assume on some things. I find this fun to watch.

Actually, that's it at all. They used the Japanese version of SMB.3 since it hasn't been translated yet in English. In Japan, the koopa kids didn't have names.

Actually when this cartoon was first in development, they use the Japanese version of the SMB.3. In that version of the game the Koopa Kids didn't have names at all. Americans are the ones that gave the koopa kids their names.;)
