have a question about playing with custom tactics and without: more specifically about cover center and cover wing. I just finished a series of victories (with flying colors) in seasons with Barcelona 4-3-2-1 balanced and direct Passing. width 40, height 71, but otherwise I stayed away from the player instructions (accidentally because they were not saved) but I now found out that all player instructions were default. because I personally felt a huge difference in gameplay (it's not about the victories but more about the playing style which turned out to be very smooth). My defense also remained noticeably better. (I have now mastered your jocky dribbling and the player lock) but still, I really noticed a huge change. is it possible to make a video with the dangers of custom tactics and/or what the difference is in cover wing and cover center? I notice in many KZbin videos that people use cover center, but after my experience today I am in doubt which option is the best. as I mentioned in previous conversations. this is purely to master all the details as much as possible.

Does 442 counter 4321? I've always used 4321 since FIFA 23 and always consistently get rank 2 or 3. On FC 24 I always get rank 3 or 4. And every time I lose I realize that my opponent is using the 442 formation.

Ive just found a formation thats better than both: 433 (2) on slow build up and balanced. Doesnt defend in a 442 either, just stay back on the DM and bith CMs on cover centre. Just got 16 wins on WL for the first time ever

No tactic is better than 4321, there is some styles but depends on luck and opponent skill gap or level. How ever this formation is useable but it's something common. About 433 all variations people who use it are not that high level of skill personally I would use them my self also but they're not implemented in game and not working like they should. Like we expect to. They're there just for sake of formations variety and EA is not able for now or don't want to even make these or any other formation which are not functional, to be actually and working or functional. Proof of that is 5 back formations which are banned on PRO scene as they shouldn't be banned if every other formation is actually performing as it should be. So only way for average player to counter 5 back is to play 5 back. You can have your opinion and I just delivered mine.

This 442 annihilates 4321 if one has mastered the 442 if there is any formation that sits close to 4321 is tbe 442, theres many broken mechanics now in the game which i havent talked about on my channel and these mechanics are best utilisied in 442 going forward you will see more 442s,, the average player should become better and outplay the player using 5 back formation using a 442,4321 or 4231. I agree with 433 bit

442 is washed if you’re behind the power curve. Best and Malen on the wings do literally fucking nothing. Why most use 4321 caus you get better results with the auto press

Explain why? If you lost some games with a tactic doesn't mean it's bad for the majority of the players. What weakness is there? I'll tell you, hard to defend on a high depth if switching isn't accurate other than that no weakness that I've personally found.
