222 Dragon Quest 8 Cutscene - The Lord of The Dragovians is Defeated

You know.. it's so amazing how subtly they tie in the original games to this one.. The Dragovian race once had an evil ancestor who caused all sorts of trouble.. he was called the DragonLord, capable of immense magic and existing in human form as well as in dragon form.... (DragonQuest1) THEN .. Empyrea states she was know by a different name in the land of her birth, she was originally called Ramia.. which was the name of the bird that you hatch in ( DragonQuest3) It might not do anything for THIS story but it suggests that these world are related somehow .. ancient legends lost to time.. Myths about the ancient world... If the dragovian sanctuary's walls could talk.... It seriously makes the world so rich.. IN FACT how much you wanna bet that the moonshadow harp once belonged to a bard named Garin... I have no proof of that one but.. I like to believe so

Munchie is an anagram of Chen Mui Very clever, and it took me so long to realize it

Also Chen in Chinese means great or tremendous while Mui stands for sky or rain....

I finished this game years ago, but never saw these cutscenes! I always had a feeling that there was more to the hero's story (immune to curses), but I never got to see this. Cool!

there is a bonus dungeon after you beat the game .. this is the reward.... among other things
