Here's something funny. I ended watching this video and Techdweeb's video on this particular console at least 5 or 6 times LOL. Because, the idea of have over 100,000 games much of which I haven't played is SUPER SUPER cool and EXCITING!! Thus, I had to watch these videos more than 5 or 6 times just to hear about it again and again LOL. It looks like I'm about to have more games than I could play in a lifetime and that's AWESOME!! Anyway, I just bought one and thanks!

I bought a similar device from a different company and really struggled to use retroarch properly. I'm technologically challenged mind you, does this console allow you to easily save/load games? My biggest reason for interest is retro RPG games so without save capability it's not worth it to me. Any insight is much appreciated, thank you!

Yeah it's a great deal and even if you decide at some point to upgrade to a gaming pc you can move the roms over onto a sd card or ssd/hdd.

I grew up on cartridge consoles, so having a mostly-working library of them all on demand for $80 seems like a pretty good deal. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this - does it pair with BT controllers, or allow for ones that aren't its stock provided controller? I've got 8bitDo Pro2s that I love.

I took a shot and ordered it. It had one Dreamcast game, 1 Sega cd and one Saturn game. Had one 3-DO game that was labeled wrong. The number of games is highly exaggerated as many have suspected. There are other libraries that are better but overall it’s meh. Perhaps for someone that doesn’t have any games and wants to return to some games of their childhood, this unit would not be a bad start especially playing 8 bit and 16 bit systems.

Hi, interesting review. I bought this deal too mainly for the very large list of PS1 games (at least in my 256gb version). Unfortunately all PS1 titles do not have music. Did you notice it too? Is there maybe a way to fix it?

This is a common trick these third party companies use to reduce file sizes so they can use lower size sd cards and make the product cheaper to make. So, Ps1 was a cd based format with multiple tracks making up the games files. This included The bin file, being usually the first track for all the games data and the music tracks being the subsequent tracks. Whats happened is the musics been removed from the rom's by the seller/whoever makes these, and they ship to you these lighter files so they are much smaller in file size. You can't restore the tracks to the game usually as the file type would need converting back to normal and then having the right tracks to add back. To fix the missing music requires reripping the game from the cd, or downloading the game again from the Internet.

Nah not powerful enough for GameCube you really need a more powerful pc for GameCube. A $150 mini pc can get you into GameCube tho very smoothly
