Ervin from OG SickStep here. I was there when Ryanimay and Hok joined the crew but didn’t stay long enough to see them leave. Didn’t know that drama story. That’s crazy. All worked out for the best and glad to see everyone’s succcess. Shout out Quest and Kinjaz.

I would've loved to hear something about Victor, especially because he was an OG for both dance crews. For those who didn't know; Victor was in the lineup for Kinjaz when they were initially founded.

I’ve always wanted to know where Victor went. I followed him for so long and I was so sad to see him go. I just wonder what he’s up to today
@kims87522 жыл бұрын
I followed Ryan Higa in 2013-16. Victor was also in some of his video's, made his own and focussed on music. One day he made all his social media private out of nowhere. The explaination was given that he was very depressed, thats why he quit youtube and Quest Crew. His channel, Victor King, is public now again

Love this! Seeing my two favorite crews and having them talk about ABDC, WOD, past “beefs”, and just shooting the shit is bringing back crazy nostalgia. I even went back and watched all of kinjaz and quest crew performances to get ready to watch this episode. You guys are both huge inspirations. I’ve always hoped for a cross over performance and it’s never too late to do one right? 🙏🏽

I didn’t mean to watch this entire episode, but I did. I feel the same way about Quest being a make-up of SUPERSTARS, and they are just rad human beings to the core. I looove how they bring in so much fun to an otherwise competitive environment. Their mindset nuggets, and how each of them express so creatively apart and together, inspires me. Thanks for having em!

It's great to hear the inside scoop on the networks and events. I've shared some of my experiences with people as well and it's nice that you are all at a level of success where the TRUTH can come out. I remember Pacman had asked me to a guest for I.aM.mE's finale performances on ABDC and I got to see many of the behind the scenes things talked about in this episode. There was even an accident that happened with one of the lasers that burned a hole through my pants. They basically gave me extra money and made me sign a waiver that I would not sue them! HAHA. Much love to Kinjaz and Quest. - Sifu.

So... it's almost like Quest and Kinjaz need to hook up as like business partners? Not make Quest part of Kinjaz but have Kinjaz' business savvy help turn Quest into ANOTHER super brand/business. Quest and Kinjaz are different kind of crews but similar enough to be hugely successful together. Quest with their RPG/Gamer kind of background with missions etc but also have a huge sense of strong individuality and identity, Kinjaz with their Anime/Manga/Ninja background have missions too but are more about moving as one etc. Huge differences, lots of common ground/themes and both hugely appealing. Then imagine the possible annual collabs for a showcase?

I was 13 year-old when when Quest Crew won the ABDC season 3, and Kinjaz performed ANBU Black Ops at the Vibe XV.. when Anthony mentioned about CADC and Kaba, it feels very nostalgic because basically my school years are all about ABDC, Vibe dance competition, Body Rock and WOD. I can’t lie, they are so cool, and I wanted to be like them 😂 It’s very interesting and fun when listening to the behind stories of the crews in this podcast.. the challenges and drama 😂 my ears actively listening for this cuz those stories were untold publicly back then.. but thanks so much for make my school years amazing, and I will never regret wasting my time watching Quest Crew, Kaba Modern, and Kinjaz on repeat..

It’s crazy how they talked about how season 8 wasn’t marketed very much because when I watched it I was like … in middle school and season 8 was one of my main inspirations to grow as a dancer. So on the off chance I never heard season 8 was airing at the time, I don’t think I’d be where I am right now honestly.

Hilarious moment 2:42 through 3:08, but factual on the comment on ABDC and did anyone else notice how each of them removed their shoes inside the studio.
