I remember watching ABDC Season 3. Every member of Quest Crew was truly a master of their art. It was such an incredible season, especially seeing Quest and Beat Freaks make it to the finals. In my opinion, it's still the best season. Quest Crew was the reason I got into b-boying in high school. Good times! :)

As a long time fan I was heartbroken when Quest and D-Trix went their separate ways especially when I saw that you were coming to perform in Australia. So when you guys unveiled him in your WOD 2014 set I remember feeling so hyped, seeing you guys kill it with members old and new. (Wow can't believe it's already been 10 years since then!)

I might get flamed for this comment, but I really DGAF. So shout to the Quest Crew and Dtrix, they really did their thing. But even if they got in season 1 of ABDC, the Jabbaz would’ve still won it all. I’ve seen the dance culture in the NorCal scene since the early 90s, way waay before the Jabbaz even formed. And dancers from up here always had a strong element of spirituality. Bboying, at its core, is a spiritual practice. And so, the biggest difference I see in SoCal crews is that they strive for the highest in entertainment value. Which I have absolutely no problem with. That’s what these competitions are for right? But as soon as I saw the Jabbaz on that show, watching them throughout my 90s childhood, I knew off the gate they were taking it all the way to the end. Kendell’s passing especially elevated their spiritual force to the heavens. To this day, they remain unstoppable and have influenced EVERY SINGLE other crew across the globe.

It is great to see the progression of how things went. Orquestra is still sick to this day given the high risk high reward stunt off the piano. Even the whole market of dance youtube videos are in decline.
