Another incredible song that I discovered watching The Sopranos, just finished the show 2 weeks ago, now I understand why is called the best series ever made. RIP James Gandolfini.
@alakhazom3 жыл бұрын
I've seen it also this year,for the first time. I postponed it for years,cause i didn't want another glorification of criminals...But it's not so much more about that,than the relationship between these characters,with the added pressure of being in the mob The best tv series i've seen,side by side with Rome.
@presbere3 жыл бұрын
@@alakhazom I totally agree about criminal glorification, I am costarrican and have watched some mexican narco series, where the cast looks like taken from a modeling agency, and depicting that kind of life as glamorous and even desirable. Saving the distances, The Sopranos do the opposite showing the mobsters as normal people with very relatable issues, and making the watcher almost feel empatethic with a lot of characters, making you forget that they are horrible human beings capable of awful deeds.
@alakhazom3 жыл бұрын
@@presbere I mean the characters are gold,and masculine. But so was mostly the people in those neighborhoods,and times. They made me laugh,but i always wanted them to get their dues,from life,society... Tony although bad due to his profession-he was surprisingly protective of his family,and tried to keep them away from his lifestyle. Especially AJ,who has so many "supporters"...The kid was a bum,with no personality at all-and no,not because of his father,as he was never forced into that lifestyle,but for sure he mooched his father of his money,and mother for sympathy... "I work all day,to buy all this 6000ft house,big tv's,food on the table,all kinds of video games,scooters, bicycles, Columbia university-and for what,to come home to this?" If it's a movie that i want to be done well,it's about the life of Cesare Mori,the Iron Prefect! Called that way by the harsh treatment he hammered on the italian Mob,putting them in their place. P.s: i've seen an interesting movie,south of you from Colombia. It's called Pajaros de Verano-it shows that most of the time crime doesn't pay,and it destroys everything around you.

That was when I discovered I'm not like everybody else. The name just jumped out at me. Being a bit of a rebel at that time, this number became my signature tune! The crowd cheers again. - 1:32 I wont take all that they hand me down And make out a smile, though I wear a frown And I'm not gonna take it all lying down 'Cause once I get started, I go to town 'Cause I'm not like everybody else, no no I'm not like everybody else I'm not like everybody else, wow I'm not like everybody else And I don't want to live my life like everybody else And I don't want to be destroyed like everybody else And I don't wanna get a job like everybody else 'Cause I'm not like everybody else (I see, I see, and what are ye') I'm not like everybody else 3:18 You see Darling, you know that I love you true And I'll do anything that you want me to I'll even Confess all my sins like you want me to But there's one thing that I can't do for you 'Cause I'm not like everybody else What did I say? (I'm not like everybody else) How did I say it? (I'm not like everybody else) One more time!
