I remember when my best friend and I saw this in the theater. When this particular scene started, everyone in the audience was laughing and cheering as if they were there in Milan with the characters. Just goes to show that everyone loves a good drag show!!!

Loved this cat walk scene-the sequence of songs, the sounds of the heels on the cat walk, and the flashy outfits that Lola and the girls wore to show off the boots! I loved the twinkle in Lola’s eyes and her raised eyebrow!

This is my favorite scene. This is where I fell in love with Chiwetel. My mom was watching him in Salt, and asked me where she knew him from. I said "Mom, that's Lola !" She was like "You're kidding ! Wow !" She's a huge fan of this movie and now of Chiwetel, thanks to me.

awww this scene just makes me want to cry and cheer every time I see it. It so uplifting and empowering and Chiwetel just blows it out of the park. The spunk, the stomping, the "no F's given", the sheer gall of it all just blows me away each time. It never fails to make me smile so much my face hurts. Certainly kills off any depressive thoughts.

My two favourite scenes from this movie are the intro with Simon dancing to David Bowie (phenomenal song, by the way) in red high heels. The symbolism is just mind-blowing. To say the least. And the second one is this, the Milano cat-walk show. Brilliant and charismatic.

I'm a long time fan of Mr Ejiofor. He's chameleon-like in his ability to embody the character (a rarity), and I've been saying I think he would be a truly fascinating actor to be the next Bond. This performance just shows his incredible versatility, and how he's capable of a wide range. If you've seen him in Serenity (as the gov't's operative), he was calm, cool. A ruthless - but with an utterly professional demeanour. He's able to this with nary a hint in his face. He's in a very ratified pantheon of actors, i.e., the best of the best.

Yes of course, bc its the climax of the movie. But another great scenen is when Lola is presented whith the first trial shoes, and he goes of in the brilliant rant how its about sex, unaware how the whole factor can hear. 😁😁😁
