50 Shades of Gray was a terrible trilogy of films as it was. Making a cheaper, Black version that mixes in Tyler Perry's brand of "ethnic couple comedy" does not improve the premise. This film, from the look of the trailers, doesn't even have the luxury of having quality cinematography. It all looks very "low rent". At least 50 shades had production value...even if that value was squandered on a horrendous project.
