I completely lost it when Pete took charge 😵‍💫 it was totally unexpected. I was continually pausing, throughout the process. By the end I was laughing in disbelief and re-watched it just to confirm what I saw was real. But it confirmed their feelings for each other, especially when Pete decided to stay.

Pete and Vegas really just snatched everyone wigs there were so many things done that has never been done in mainstream bl or even straight movies for that matter 50 shades look like a fluffy romance in comparison. I have always loved Vegas but the fact that he never forced Pete he smiled with joy when Pete kissed him and immediately got to work pleasuring Pete you know where. Loride and the chains and the protection and Pete offering his hands and Vegas tieing it and kissing it. And Pete grinning from ear to ear and Vegas staring at him intensely. Their passion is magical at this point

As usual, your recap is awesome. I would have to write a book to respond all my feelings about everything, but I'll just say this: I am SO glad the book and the show are different in many ways. For the first time in my life, I like the series just as much, if not more, than the book. I cried through this episode (yes, I'm a crier), but not for sad, it was because of the deep feelings of love displayed between the two main couples. If I had a power, I would give all these actors some sort of reward for their talents and my joy and luck in being able to see them. Thank you for this - what will I do with only two episodes left?

The chemistry in this episode was off the charts. Vegas and Pete taking their “relationship” to new levels was especially hot but I also found the Kinn Porsche moments intimate and endearing. Just Kinn wanting to start their relationship on a new slate and Porsche saying Kinn loves him and He loves Kinn was such a swoon moment. Kinn has shown Porsche so much support, I’m really hoping that whatever Porsches next steps are, that he involves Kinn and doesn’t keep him in the dark. With only 2 episodes left, there seems to be so much left to cover. I’m really hoping they don’t rush the plot but I also don’t want to be left with a major cliff hanger at the end of the season. Waiting week on week for an episode was hard enough! 😭😅

@@Jaeshin123 I don’t want to wait either. Typically I prefer to binge watch an entire season at once but obviously for the newer shows its not possible. I’d literally have to stay off KZbin to avoid spoilers while waiting 12/15 weeks for the show to be completed. Fortunately though, there have been a lot of BL drama releases this year and no doubt there will be many more. So it will help us bide the time while we wait for S2 of Kinnporsche. I hope. 😅

Thank you for another great recap! What will we do without the excellence that is KinnPorsch? The acting is superb! So many scenes have left me speechless, even those that were hard to watch. The passionate, beautiful love between Kinn and Porsche is gripping, but so is the twisted, messed up thing Pete and Vegas have. If you are sick, my friend, so am I. As wicked as the character of Vegas is, Bible has made him captivating! And..Build’s performance in the NC was perfection and told a very complex story. He empathized and supported Vegas, as though he were not capable of killing him, didn’t kidnap him, and didn’t just torture him. So good, even if a dark story for me.

It's a reminder that we never know what's really going on with a couples relationship it might to all the world look amazing but behind closed doors it might be completely different. So one will be shocked when we find out it's not what we thought. That was what I understood from that revelation.

So now, while waiting for Episode 13 (and finding the hours too long!) us freaky viewers will rewatch THAT scene until it trends #1 in the universe, we will consume any FMV featuring VegasPete and THAT scene, reactors will find ways to feature THAT scene in their videos without getting kicked off KZbin. I can only say 3000 inhalers is not enough (cos I will replay 3001 times!) and I lost my jaw along the way as it keeps hitting the ground. How it will end? I imagine (in my mind it is in 4k high def) that Vegas’ Devil Dad finds out that Vegas has been playing with pets and toys (Pet = Toy = Pete) too much and Pete being the kind but kinky person he is, decides to leave the Safehouse of Sin and $*X to return to the Main House. He doesn’t tell anyone about his 2 week side trip to Sin City and suffers from Chain Withdrawal Syndrome cos well… what happened in Vegas, stayed in Vegas (Might be the other way around though!) The 2 Families clash (because they all have Daddy issues) and we get Kinn pointing a gun at Vegas (this does happen in the novel), Pete rushes to protect his Sensitive Man and then turning around and points his gun at Kinn. Porsche seeing his Bread Buddy with the Buns in danger and rushes in to protect his other smoking Gun (they share ‘guns’ right?). And there we have the Clash of the Titillating Titans - VegasPete vs KinnPorsche in final scene. A gunshot goes off and THE END. The cliffhanger of the BL century. Why I say so is because really, the cast has loose lips. If they knew who died, they would be spoiling left, right and centre (ref: Perth, Bible, Build, Barcode) so they actually don’t know. Only P’Pond knows (or maybe he doesn’t either!) And we get the universe of KP fans dying until the next season. There really is no point permanently killing off any of the main 6 character cos that fandom of viewers will be in uproar. I may be COMPLETELY off but hey, we have all been creating some fantasy in our minds right?

Hi there! Vegas 2 Pete: "You just have to survive a couple of electric shock sessions & then i´ll be your best lover you could ever imagine." I could not sense any signs of torture anymore, that love making scene was a bliss. So are they trying to say they not gonna make Pete addicted to pain on the show? Cuz this certainly didnt look like yr typical way of making sb addicted to pain, really.. quite the opposite, I´d say :)) Whatever the case,: 1: the scene made me jeallous af & 2. VegasPete gave us the best rated R scene of all shows so far, hands down. I knew it was gonna be good just not this kind of good. The Vegas who is turned on when he gets his lips bleed while trying to seduce a drugged person, or when he tortures sb with electric shocks... Vegas who has a secret room full of.. stuff. I dont mind certain characters be like this.. i really dont. But somehow this side of Vegas was the main reason why i couldnt make myself ship VegasPete, cuz: 1. Poor Pete, 2. abuser/victim or say dealer/junkie kind of relationships are just not my thing. What we´ve seen in the last episode, however is anything but that. Its honestly like as if they skipped those 3 seasons 🤣- i was typing about in my comment on yr previous video - that are needed to see a proper character development for them to get where they are now. Beauty and the Beast is a typical fairy tale motif. The beast that can only be tamed by a virgin. The good feeling of being the only one who knows the true, soft and vulnerable character of a villain has not only been popular since Britney Spears' song about loving a bad boy. By the way, also a motivator for relationships in reality. I am a teacher and many of my best and brightest girls fall in love with the bad boy of the school. Often even a happy relationship. The beauty has just as much power as the bad boy maybe even more. Pete is certainly Vegas' prisoner and physically inferior to him even without restraints. He is neither as ruthless nor as desperate as Vegas, but compassionate and soft. But that only makes him superficially weaker. The web of dominance and inferiority is complex and I am impressed by how well the actors portray it.

I loved this episode so much. Vegas/Pete are the ones on FIRE, while KP are just being sweet now. It's definitely been a shift. Thank you for the videos. I haven't been able to find a place to read the series yet - though it sounds like while there are some changes, they are mostly doing it justice. As for the comment... Time and Tey... I think the whole point was that he was saying that they were together more out of being in the same situation? Maybe I read it wrong. I honestly would LOVE more from them. The casting in this show has been amazing. I also was waiting for Kim to put Chay against the wall and kiss him. ;) In the book, do they end up together? Also... WHAT is Kim searching for with his board and stuff? I'm dying to know what that is all about!

In the party scene last episode, I wanted Kim to drag Chay out of there and kiss him hard against the wall, but since the guy who plays Chay is a minor, I don't think they will even kiss in the series

The intensity of the scene with a grieving Vegas on the grass baring his soul. My God. And this is true love here. First off I'd like to congratulate the cast and crew, especially the director, for having the courage and conviction in delivering a drama that has clearly shown the passion between two people who love each other deeply after many trials and tribulations. That's what I've found so unrealistic in past productions. You can have two lead actors, regardless of whether they're male or female, if they love each other passionately and they've been through hell and high water to finally become a couple, how does it make sense that they only give each other a chaste kiss once everything is resolved. It's crazy and unrealistic and let's face it these days I'm quite sure that 18+ should be able to handle a sex scene especially if it's done as lovingly and tastefully as they've done in this series. We're not children so why give us characters that look like adults but interact like school children. KinnPorsche has at least broken down the barriers and show adults behaving like passionate adults do. How is

the Pete Vegas scene is not only different than Vegas would have traded to Porsche. it is also the exact opposite of the first night between Porsche and Kinn. Kinn never sought Porsche's permission. Porsche was not sane both the first time they kissed and when he slept with Kinn. It's not outright rape, but it's not really consensual. Vegas needs Pete's consent to feel satisfaction. Porsche doesn't smile with satisfaction afterwards like Pete does, but he feels used. And Kinn is actually annoyed by how Porsche behaves afterwards. "Don't be like that, what's done is done." The fact that Vegas in particular, who is violent and manipulative, is psychologically more tender with his partner touched me. That aside, it's a scene you want to watch over and over again. It is an achievement to enable two couples, each quite different and representing different sexual orientations, to create such beautiful, erotic and aesthetic scenes. I never had to feel embarrassed. I always had a satisfied smile on my face.

If you think of Vegas as Dominant in true BDSM terms, then his wanting Pete's consent is the lure. It's Pete's voluntary submission that he craves. After Pete tells him that it is stupid to hurt himself, I could see and feel the change in Vegas. The thought forming in Vegas' mind of "well, then can I hurt you instead". The scene was so intense.

Because he could have beaten and raped Pete without any problem. But he didn't. Pete gave him the restraints himself. By the way, Vegas kisses Pete's hands like Kinn kisses Porsche's hands. Great analogy.

The truth is they longed for each other and after ep 3 Porsche was quite aware about his feelings too you can definitely tell from his expressions that he liked Kinn too and Kinn actually saved his life from the drug as a novel reader I know how dangerous the drug was it could actually kill Porsche... And as for consent, it's about mafia so here things work like this not all like rose coloured glasses... And man Kinn said forgive me three times and really wanted to give his life for Porsche man that scene says it all... I just agree with you everything, pete and Vegus steal the show. Now I am so smitten with them that if the pool scene does not happen I will forgive the director. I just want Vegus and Pete. KinnPorsche has been such a groundbreaking series in terms of acting, production value, art design/cinematography, and subject matter that I am beginning to have separation anxiety. Two more episodes left and then what will I do with my obsession? Re-watch the whole series again? Most likely. Suggestions anyone? Moving on to the next series is a one idea that leaves me vaguely unsatisfied. KP has ruined me for all other BLs. Yes, I know that I am being melodramatic. LOL. Vegas is Machiavelli and Marquis De Sade grafted into one person. I am suspicious that he left the key behind accidentally. Was it to test Pete? Or maybe a defense mechanism to let Pete go so no one sees him fall apart? His smile when Pete kisses him was more like "Gotcha" then just simple happiness. Vegas' face when Pete smiles at him in the afterglow seems a bit stunned and unsure like he is thinking what have I got myself into. I might be overthinking this one but Vegas appears shook. Pete is very loyal to the main family. I think he either overhears or Vegas tells him that Karn is planning something bad and that is why he returns to the main family. I cannot believe Vegas would let him go (single wrist restraint is back in the preview) unless Pete's life is in danger or he cannot keep Pete hidden any longer. Vegas strikes me as the type that once he truly falls then he is incapable of hurting the one he loves. He can be a monster to everyone else except to the one he loves. This is why he asks for consent and is so gentle with Pete while still meeting his needs. Papa Korn is a lying liar that lies! He orchestrated this whole thing from start to finish to get Porsche in the family and now he is trying to get him back in the family with more manipulation. Why give up your friend now? Just to appease Porsche? Nope. Something else is going on here. I keep remembering those hand prints that Kim found in the locked drawer in Papa Korn's study. Tay and Time have minimal screen time that is certain. However, there have been little clues this whole time. When they were in Yok's bar, Time was flirting with Tem (touching his shoulder) and passed out drunk in his arms (gotta check again). Also, at the shooting range Time was teasing but serious about wanting a bodyguard like Porsche and it irked Tay. In their few scenes, Time is never focused on Tay. The hints are there if you look closely. Of course, I cannot leave on a comment about KP without touching on the color schemes. I will limit myself to Vegas/Pete scenes only. Gone is the red and green to be replaced with pink, blue, and purple. Such a dramatic shift. The red softened into pink (Vegas' emotions) which indicates more love or romantic feelings. Blue is the calmness and comfort Pete feels around Vegas. He knows that his kinks can be met. The purple is the meeting of the two feelings. Purple is a rare color in movies and dramas. It is the first time we have seen it in this series. I believe it's used to signify something different or out of place or alternative. An anomaly which certainly describes Vegas and Pete's relationship. Side note: Was anyone else irked by the loud background music in the Vegas/Pete intimate scene? I would rather hear them breathing more please. Also, the music was creepy which I guess intensified the scene. My spouse asked me if I was watching a scary movie and when I said I was watching a love scene he replied with well that's an interesting choice of music.

The music in particular is something I was especially pleased with in this series. I have never downloaded the OST of a Thai series, because the melodies sound more like music from a 1980s elevator. Here, situations and couples have specially composed songs and melodies. When Kinn and Porsche are together, there is a characteristic, very beautiful melody. Even there, breathing and all other sounds are mostly drowned out and honestly, I didn't think it was that bad. So it's only logical that there is special music for appropriate Vegas Pete scenes as well. And fitting to Marquis de Sade/ Machiavelli this can't be romantic, uplifting music. The sound should be a bit BDSM-like and it obviously is.

@@beater655 It drowned out the chain noises (lol). I can see that a soft or soothing music would not fit their dynamic or the scene. In KP's bathroom scene, you can even hear softly crying at the end. The music never drowned out their noises. The VP scene still rocked. You only notice the tiny details after you watch something repeatedly. First time through, I wasn't aware of the music as much.

I’m, usually unfortunately, hyper-aware of the background music and for 95% of this series it has been spot on. The VP ep 12 was an exception. The fact that you noticed it is a red flag. Good background music should do it’s job without being intrusive. Unless, of course, they intended it that way which is most likely….but gosh, I agree with you, I would rather hear ragged breathing.

My guess is that Vegas' dad finds Pete and tells him again to "clean up his mess" meaning to kill Pete. I think Vegas puts it all on the line and defies his dad to let Pete go. He doesn't want to let him go, but he can't let him die. I wish we could see Pete's funeral with Tankhun flying his crazy flag and showing his love for Pete and Porsche's fear of ghosts! I just can't see how they would fit it in.

You can't base it on the novel, but the series departs from the original in so many ways that you can consider Kinnporsche a stand-alone work. PRO: Vegas is honest. I can only go by his statements, his actions and his facial expressions. He seems to have a need for redemption. his visit to the temple and the book he reads when his father beats him speaks to that. I also believe his despair at being an unloved child. He doesn't kill Pete, even though he is going against his father's direct orders. He cares for Pete and wants Pete's consent before the sex scene. CONTRA: Vegas is lying. He knows Pete is reacting to your wavering emotions, Vegas explicitly says so. Whether the hedgehog is actually sick, no one can say . In any case, Pete hasn't noticed any change. The key that Vegas "loses" is extremely obviously left on the bed. Someone as careful as Vegas should seriously lose his key from his pocket? Script error or Vegas trick? He's also not surprised that Pete sits you down next to him as a free man. All of this could suggest that Vegas deliberately staged this to partner with Pete. I buy your love, though. That's how romantic I am.

I really wanted to pour my heart out somewhere, so here I am.... I was so afraid how are they going to show the r**e scene of Vegas and pete in the series. I was even more afraid how are bible and build going to enact such an emotionally disrupting scene. But I was so happy with the makers for converting one of the most painful scene in the book to one of most beautiful scenes in the series. It was so wonderful to watch Vegas making pete all riled up for him and then waiting for consent. Like obvio bro who can deny you😉The series Vegas is a player. So manipulative. He could even make a stone loose it's shit over him, so pete is just a normal human full of love. But whatever it was, man, that was super hot 🔥🔥🔥

Ep 12 is poignant that the producers/scriptwriter in my personal opinion/analysis are brilliantly knowledgeable to showcase an almost forgotten psychological anamoly issue known as the 'Stockholm syndrome'- psychologist defined as a coping mechanism resulting in falling in luv with the abuser, emergent deep feeling of trust/affection in hostage-taking situation as portrayed here, btwn a victim/captive Pete towards his handsome captor, Vegas. Psychologists don't/has not yet categorise it as a mental-emo disorder. The intense hate2luv emo can be mutual as in Vegas-Pete responses of eo - the sensual stimuli provoked, evocked, heightened by manifesting itself, unleashed into unbridled sensuality gravitating them towards eo with uncontrolled intensity needing release via a physical sexual intercourse consumation! Bravo to scriptwriter/producer/director & ofc the 2 episodic 'protagonists Vegas/Pete who are emboldened, 'threading where no angels neither man of Asian origin dare thread' in portraying a realistic normal, face2face, hetero-bishop-position love-making scene (SM aside). The very first in Asia BL drama series! A big leap historic progress of Asia BL! Queer gays are indeed capable of such love-making position sans the SM apparat. One thing I disagree, nope we have all not do what Chay is doing no matter how broken we have been. Being young doesn't mean being stupid, a sheep and selfish. Chay is throwing all away and ready to be drunk and drugged for a man who never even told him he loved him when was asked, who had to be chased down to his studio for him to listen to the song because he would not answer back to Chay s call... He never promised anything to Chay (compared to Vegas and tawan). So Chay acting stupid not even thinking once about what his brother had been through for years (working many jobs, street free fighting for money, being pressure by creditors) just so he could have a good life is so shitty, and even at 16/17 you should be mature enough to realised that. If you are heartbroken kick some sandbags, eat ice cream to the point of turning sick, listen to sad song lying in bed in the dark (Bridget Jones way) but do not go trash your life and make the people that love you concern and trouble.
