I am your ardent fan and i wait as much for your reaction on this series as the episodes itself. I don't know whether you will agree with me or not, I think that the relationship between Kinn and Porsche is intensely poetic on both emotional and physical plane s,in fact it took me almost a week to find appropriate expression to give words to their love after watching the episode several times. I don't know whether any other bl will reach this perfection .

Truly appreciate this forum where I can discuss the latest episode with other KP fans each week. I have watched the party scene at the minor family house and the bathroom scene repeatedly and not for the reasons you might think. My theory is that Porsche was faking being drunk as he went from can't walk to being totally sober way too fast. Also, I do not want to believe that he is so stupid to get falling down drunk in the enemy camp. His face when Vegas kisses him was more like this is going further then I planned. Porsche looked smug when Kinn first got close to him and then was surprised that Kinn was so angry. He cannot sober up so quickly to manage to walk away unaided and have lightening quick reflexes. Unfortunately, I have extensive experience with drunk people but I understand these are actors portraying characters so my experience might be influencing my theory. These two get their feelings hurt and lash out at each other especially Kinn. Porsche hurts Kinn by accusing him of killing his ex because he is already hurt by the face slap and the mistrust. Kinn lashes back with the "loose" comment and then realizes he has gone to far after Porsche stalks off on steady feet. Kinn's facial expressions during their make up sword (or "gun" if you prefer) fight was fascinating to watch. Mile did an amazing job here. To me, the emotion that came across the strongest was joy (pleasure running a very close second). The one he loves admits to loving him and is touching him freely. Kinn apologized and was forgiven so no guilty feelings like in the waterfall pool. The NC scenes deliver the heat but also a vast array of emotions that are palpable. Another example is the balcony scene where both are flirting in a fun sexy way and then in the span of a breath, Kinn is overcome with emotion as the danger to Porsche looms. I am quite obsessed with this drama (obviously). I will stop here because if I launch into the significance of the color red or the animal prints for Vegas's clothes in the episode then this post will turn in to a full blown doctoral thesis.

Kinn was drunk he has a habit of getting drunk quickly and I have watched the scene too many times as well lol. He was shocked by Vegas I don't think he understands that Vegas has been trying to seduce him all this time. He is not familiar with a guy coming on to him for example even when they shared that hug Porsche still did the bro five meaning it was platonic no romantic feelings. Also his smug look was that of relief and joy to see Kinn he was saved by him again. But instead Kinn argued with him and slapped him which sobered him up.

@@a.3761 You asked so here goes (lol). Condensed version because I'm a lazy typist. ;) In my mind, red signifies danger or caution. Red has always been associated with the devil therefore evil. We are getting full danger (CAUTION) vibes off Vegas in this episode. Red is also the color of blood which Vegas was quite literally covered in. Thus, Vegas is starting to show his true colors and everyone especially Pete should be aware. The animal prints make me think of a predator (leopard etc) that will stalk and eat you. Vegas feels powerful in his red and seductive. He is luring in his prey in more ways than one. His prey being Porsche at the moment but Pete will be the one captured eventually. Some very important scenes had the colors of green and gold. Green indicating envy or jealousy and greed. Vegas is envious of Kinn and wants to take Porsche away in order to make Kinn jealous. Green is also a sign of new beginnings or new growth which I think we will see a lot around Vegas and Pete (also RED obviously). For example, the hallway scene where Vegas finds Pete out of his room has a green overtone with no hint of red. The gold, especially in the bathroom scene, was really intriguing to me. It was giving the heavens parting savior kind of vibe when Kinn rescues Porsche. That gold (or sepia tone) light shines brightly behind them for much of that scene. The color evokes a mood of emotional salvation when Porsche accepts Kinn's apology (forgiveness in the form of make up intimacy) and Kinn's resulting joy. Gold is thought of a celebratory color as well. Now, the next bit of interesting symbolism in this episode was the use of mirrors but I am still working through this one. I am pondering the theme of smoke and mirrors i.e. illusion or truth being reflected back. I am going to rewatch it again.

What I find particularly strange in the Vegas home is the role of religion. Pete bows to a Buddhist shrine. he seems to be the only religious person among the bodyguards. The party is constantly being filmed over a statue of the Madonna. Mary the Virgin at a party where Vegas tries to seduce Porsche. very nicely constructed. It's great when the camera work contributes to the interpretation. Incidentally, Porsche, who is pressed against the mirror by Kinn, is holding his arms similar to Maria's. He may not be a virgin anymore, but he's innocent.

Loved your recap and spoilers as usual and had a chuckle at your canal of holy water. I think we're all in that boat 😂. Let's face it we have an attractive cast of grown men, a script that goes from comedic to endearing to sizzling at the drop of a hat and enough action to fill a Hollywood blockbuster that somehow manages to pull out all the stops and combine all of the elements listed above in a way that I don't think I've ever seen before. What a revolting bunch of thugs at that table. Very scary. Macau playing his part. A mix of con and enticement. Was anyone else shocked that now Porsche is practically an assassin? Gunning down those ppl in the warehouse? I know we were distracted by Vegas across his lap - so cool and sexy, but I felt that was sort of huge. Yet somehow he is still an innocent. I was so cross with Pete and his hysterical (as in hyper panicky not hilarious) reporting to Kinn. So uncool! Vegas gonna make him pay. But it did lead to a very satisfying slap! I loved it. That comment was so out of line. All women know it. Such a sexist, chauvinistic double standard insult. Makes my blood boil. Just happy the slap snapped Kinn out of it and led to O.M.G...how am I supposed to live🥰🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 moment. I do have to admit though I am not sure of who had hold of whom and what was going on LOL. I am in no way a prude and usually have a pretty good grasp (pardon the pun 😁) what is going on but this one confused me a little bit. Please someone explain... in detail LOL 😂 And that final hug was beautiful. How these two manage the transitions in emotions is really something to behold. Stunningly shot episode too. The mirrors was a touch of genius. Scared for next ep. The handholding was a tad cringey for me. I don't want to see this whole "confused about feelings" thing. But I am a wuss. It was more the swinging and the fact that I get scared in these shows whenever anyone is overtly happy - something is always waiting to crush it and I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE 😭😂 I am a total wimp. I actually don't know how I am alive my heart has been ripped out of my chest so many times now. Between these and K-dramas I am an absolute wreck! I am that child at a pantomime or puppet show yelling "He's behind you!". I am still like that. I can't help it LOL such a loser 😂 I am scared of Korn now. So Vegas' dad is Korn's younger brother? I never expected the writers to give us a hardened mob boss who loves and shows vulnerability. I just love the story building! The sex scenes, for me, are shocking, but beautiful, as they are not gratuitous scenes, but fit the story.

I hope and believe that it's just felling of guilty about Tawan in Kinn's heart not love anymore. You see the different about that pics. KinnPorsche they both smiling happily but the second pic Kinn and his ex, just Kinn whose smile. If it's a true love Kinn will not let Tawan go and Tawan will do the same. He will take any responsibility about his act, to protect their love, but it's not. I remmember TharnType and Tharn - Tar. So.... the scene with the father reminds me of snow white and the evil stepmother. The apple plays a major role in both scenes. She gives Snow White an apple that gets stuck in her throat and she is placed in a glass coffin. The father wants Kinn to be so cold and dead inside again. He wants Kinn back to his duties, back to his glass coffin. But he doesn't want a prince to kiss him awake.
