The “hungry” thing Pete said is actually related to the novel. The show did not fully describe that Pete and Vegas’ relationship revolves around food although Vegas cooked for him we did not see Pete eat it. In the novel, Vegas is so whipped for Pete that he buys food that Pete likes and he always thinks if Pete was well fed and likes the food in the minor fam house. Hahahaha

0:57 The part where she talks about birds meaning Freedom and happiness here is one of the reasons that convinced me that she is just faking her memory loss. At the end of the episode if you look at the painting behind her that she was working on when Porsche and Porchay came in you can see that she's painting birds in pairs. Ones in the dark and ones in a whiter setting. That coupled with her very suspicious reaction when they came in and the look on her face at the end sealed the deal for me. 1:48 "It's your fault for knowing too much" That line was not in Korn's version of the story but in Gun's and if you go back to ep 13 in Porsche's vision Gun was the one sitting in the chair and Korn was the one standing. That means Korn lied or at least twisted the truth a little. 4:47 Kim's reaction to the news and the look he exchanges with Chan at the end of the scene there. It definitely looked more like anger than grief and Chan's look to him as well looked more like a question mark than anything else. I bet you he knew Korn was faking. We were never shown the meeting between him and Korn in ep 13 so Korn could've easily told him something that resulted in this reaction here. 6:16 There's a heavy emphasis here on Porsche having to make a choice between minor and main family. Then again during the confrontation where Kinn tells him that if he believes Korn he must choose the main family to which Porsche replies: "I’m not on the main family's side, I'm not on the minor family's side, I'm on your side". And then again, at the face-off with Gun where he offers him safety if he abandons Kinn. That paired with the conversation on the rooftop with Kinn is so interesting to me in the context of the episode because apart from the obvious reasons why Korn faked his death. It feels like it was also Korn's intention with his fake-out to test Kinn's leadership capacities and also in the process, I feel like he wanted to test Porsche's loyalty just like everyone else's loyalty to the main family was tested this episode. 7:14 this whole scene with the board meeting confirms my thoughts again about why Korn decided to fake his death. He needed to smoke out the people who would betray them and side with Gun at the first opportunity and it shows the fact that their entire organization was corrupted by Gun somehow. This is totally a throwback to ep 1 when Kinn tells Don " we were corrupted, and they (whoever's been messing with our profits) wouldn't have succeeded w/o help from my people (the man he killed being one of said people), hopefully, the last case." But obviously, it wasn't the last case. Foreshadowing at its finest. Also, Notice the suit Kinn is wearing here is the same one he's wearing during the shootout which means that what happened after literally wasn't long after this meeting. Kinn was utterly unprepared for this invasion and it completely explains why they lost so many. The events at the end of ep 13 bleed into the events at the beginning of this episode again the outfits from the end of that episode are the same ones they were wearing at the hospital in the beginning. (the show often uses outfit changes to mark the flow of time). This means everything happened super fast. Poor Kinn thinking he lost his father to poison, having to figure out who did it while managing people challenging his authority and his succession rights, thinking about the business too, and dealing with whatever the hell happened with Porsche in the midst of all this. I'm not surprised they were caught with their pants down. 8:30 Korn very much knew that the moment gun thought he died or was somehow out of the equation, his brother would show his true colors and attack and everyone who sided with his brother and/or was not loyal to the main family would align themselves with Gun and they would all be taken out at once. Gun has been waiting for a while for this and Korn knew that he would take the first opportunity to attack and overtake the main family. Gun's been working against him, infiltrating his ranks, and turning people against him and Kinn for years now and Korn knew that he needed to smoke his brother out and also take out everyone that would align themselves with him and challenge his current chosen successor's authority (Kinn). He took himself out of the equation entirely for the sake of this happening regardless of how many lives could be lost. In his selfishness, he is only thinking about consolidating and stabilizing his power. 11:11 This is Kinn panicking because it is written all over Porsche's face that he doesnt trust Korn not for a second. And that line from Porsche here is one of the most significant ones in the entire series imo. for many reasons, one of which explains Porsche's decision to say yes to the minor family head position. If only to protect Kinn. 16:35 yes he did sir! yes he indeed did lock up this woman for that many years, she is supposed to be his leverage against Porsche and Gun. Korn is the devil. This man lied and manipulated everyone so he could solidify his power. He faked his death because he needed an excuse to eliminate his brother and what better excuse than self-defense. He would then be able to transfer his brother's power to whoever he picked without anyone contesting it. 17:47 The part about him waiting for the day Porsche would see his mother again is among the few things this man says in this episode that I believe to be true. Because from the jump, it was always important that Porsche be indebted and beholden to him. He had Porsche's mother all along and he obviously was planning on unveiling that fact to Porsche one day but on his own terms. He spoke a lot of half-truths in the finale and one of those was how he had been waiting for the day that Porsche could reunite with his mother again but that's about all the truth there was to that statement because he probably had his plans as to how that would happen but as you can see shit hit the fan before he had the chance to set that up to his utmost liking. So he had to play a different version of the game.

19:39 He wants everyone to like him. This man is the ultimate gaslighter. He spends a lot of time portraying himself as this reasonable, merciful, wise and caring person. Which is one of the reasons why so many don't contest his leadership as much and he tends to breed loyalty in his men and people, who've been fooled by him, love and follow him so obstinately even his own son. 22:22 This was Korn's endgame all along! This tradition was what Korn was counting on and why he's done all he has done so far the way he's done it. This appointing of Porsche to be head of the minor family had been his winning strategy and a part of his end game all along from the start. Like I said, He knew he had to get rid of his brother. In order to be able to get rid of his brother, he also needed somebody that he could control to take his place, and obviously, that wasn't about to be Vegas because we have established that Vegas hates the main family's guts and that he would never align himself with them like that. He needed to groom someone of his own and teach them a few things about the business (which explains why he was so adamant about Porsche shadowing Kinn so bad and why he handed him the head bodyguard Position so easily at the beginning of the show). Korn was never worried about whether or not Porsche would agree because he had Porsche's mother at his mercy, locked up somewhere this whole time, and ready to use her at any given point as he saw fit. He may not have been able to predict that Kinn and Porsche would fall in love with each other. And it is obvious that he was against it at first but once he figured out how to use it to his benefit, he adjusted the plan to fit into his original vision. And It became easier for him in a way that explains why he decided to accept their relationship so easily and also why he gave Kinn permission to go after Porsche in ep 12 when he first finds out about his parent's car crash being covered up. He needed Kinn to be as close to and as trusted by Porsche as possible and the more in love and together they were the more he could also use Kinn to make Porsche move how he wants him. Idk if you took notice but even as he appoints Porsche as the head of the minor family, he doesn't hand him the ring directly, he gives it to Kinn who then offers it to Porsche, insuring himself that Porsche would take it. He hides behind Kinn the entire time after Porsche finds out that he has been lied to by Korn again and again. Because although he managed to get Porsche (his queen piece) in the position that he needed him to be for him to be able to protect his current King piece (Kinn) he also lost Porsche's trust in the process which was obviously not part of his plans at all. It is quite obvious that Thee ruined his original plan when he decided to open his mouth and approach Porsche with the picture. This also explains why Korn was trying to get Kinn to take Porsche out of town in the last episode. He needed to buy time so that he could get rid of Thee before he opened his big mouth but as you can see that is not what happened. So he had to make adjustments. This specific plan was set in motion the moment Porsche ran away from the house. He called Kim in for a meeting and we don't know what he tells Kim but I have a few guesses (namely getting him ready for his "death" and Kinn's possible passing from all this mess). He needed to get his queen Piece (Porsche) in the perfect position and this chain of events that followed did just that. Remember in the beginning, he said Porsche was the final piece of the game of chess he's been preparing. This was one of the end goals. 23:02 Yes he is! and If you are wondering why he accepted the position I can tell you this. It's not because he trusts Korn or Because he wanted to. I'm pretty sure at this point Porsche realizes that he needs to be in a position where he can 1) be of help to Kinn, and protect him from not only his enemies but from his own father and 2) have enough influence and power of his own to find out the truth for himself and even take Korn on if he has to. So, it makes absolute sense why he would accept the minor family ring. I suspect Porsche has a plan and I hope we see what it is in season 2.

Thank you for giving such a detailed analysis and observation of this show and especially this episode. To be honest I was surprised, disappointed and to a point annoyed that not many people as I had expected had figured out the manipulative behavior of Korn, atleast by now. I would say that it's pretty clear from the plot, and the characters' reactions and actions. One doesn't even have to read the novel to know all that. The show itself had been giving hints and reasons both subtly and otherwise. Korn had been manipulating the truth and telling lies over lies whenever he gets caught. He killed Gun right before that exact moment when he was about to say something about Nampheung which might have exposed him and ruined his plans. I mean, he could have killed Gun before or after he had said that. But it really looked like Korn was in such a rush to do it and had to make Gun stop talking at all costs before he said anything further. Gun also dies just like Porsche's uncle right before he was about reveal the killer of his parents and I highly suspect that it was also arranged by Korn. Though I saw Kinn running towards them with a gun there was no reason or logic for him to kill Porsche's uncle as they were only talking. Kinn killing Porsche's uncle would have made sense if his uncle was doing something to attack Porsche. Kinn would've needed whoever Porsche was talking with to be alive in order to figure out what Porsche was up to, then. Also Kinn and Pete was too far away even to be seen by them when Vegas stepped forward with his gun to spot the shooter. And Kinn himself looked surprised that there was a dead man lying there. Korn says "History is only written by the victor". I mean it's quite obvious at that point that he is the one who had been using everyone for his own selfish goals. From the concern and fear I saw in Nampheung's eyes when she meets her sons, I feel that she is being threatened by Korn and is pretending her condition to protect her sons.

And Korn being the real antagonist of the story. In season 2 I hope we get more about Kim and also get more insights into what Porsche plans to do cuz its obvious he doesn't believe Korn

I love you. You're one of the few people who actually understand the show. Like, i mean, the plot is very clear despite some loopholes but you can obviously tell what's going on and can predict what could've happened next. Besides, the actors are good at giving expressions and their lines always have hints. Idk why people didn't catch up. Or maybe everyone's too focused on the love scenes and the couples.. but still, it's the finale. Y'all should've get it aince the first few episodes.. about Namphueng, I think Namphueng is faking amnesia or something to protect her sons because she knows Korn can harm them if he wants. She's been playing along all this time but she probably didn't expect Porsche to be in that house. Now her nightmare is becoming a reality as her two sons fell into Korn's trap. The first time she saw Porsche, her expression is like she's about to cry and wants to hug him but then she remembers that Korn is in there. I feel sad for them. As for Khan, i think he's the one who's telling the truth. I also badly need to see the VegasPorsche alliance in the next season. Also KimChay's happy ending. We need season 2 asap!

Sorry for the second post but I noticed a few things. 1. Kim knew his father wasn't dead. I think he told Kim his plan during their meeting; the one Kim was forced to attend after finding out Chay and Porsche were missing. 2. Chay was wearing the same necklace Kim had been wearing for most of the show's run, while listening to Kim's video. 3. Porsche had his flashback before Korn or Gun told their versions of the story of his father's shooting. In his vision, Gun was sitting at the table and the 'he knew too much' statement was said which gives legs to Gun not being the complete villain. 4.Both Kim and Pete made statements about being hungry during times when "I love you" would have been "better". 5. I have $10 bucks on Vegas being the child's voice telling Porsche to run and hide.

I’ve seen some people confused on pete/making fun of the whole pet and hungry thing but remember he’s trying to stop someone he has developed strong feelings for and loves from killing himself and so he’ll say or do anything to stop it, BUT that’s also their thing he wants vegas to stay with him and TAKE CARE OF HIM. He’s trying to get vegas to realize he needs him. Like “hungry” for his love, attention.

" I'm hungry " Pete is hungry because the only person in the world who can feed him is Vegas, he full files Pete with every part of him, it doesn't matter if it's violence, sex or tenderness, all of Vegas is deliciously addicting to Pete, he will take anything that the devil has to give. When he says "You ran away, so I had to follow my owner" we finally realize that the only person who truly sees him is Vegas. He touched him so deeply that he can only follow him and be with him, no one else is worth of it. And this is shown again when he says "Can you turn around and look at me?" If Pete doesn't have Vegas then he doesn't have anyone, he gave up everything to be with him and now that person is turning his back on him. Pete feels like he has lost his only identity, and he did it all just for the possibility of being with Vegas and now he's unseen. Then at the ending scene, we see Pete bringing Vegas food this time, he is now the one to satiates their hunger that they've sought for so long, he reassures Vegas that there is no one here to ruin this because they are their own unit now, nothing can set them apart anymore.

Porsche's mother recognized him immediately. I feel she must act as if she lost her memory to protect her boys. Her memory is also presented in her art. The green plant is from her house. The 2 birds represent Porsche and Chay.Also, she was finally able to breathe again at the appearance of Chay. I also believe Porsche doesn't trust Mr. Korn. I think Porsche realizes his memory of the events that day his father was killed is more aligned with Mr. Gun's story of what happened. It will definitely be a season 2. The story is just getting started.

I also replayed the ending scene so many times because it's so cute!! I love seeing their newly formed family. I'm so sad a lot of people seemed to forget about Macau in all of the ruckus because he wasn't in a lot of scenes, but for me I was so excited to see him sleeping in the corner. It made me glad to know that they got Macau out of the minor family and were able to settle somewhere safe for the time being. Knowing that Korn likely wants both Vegas and Macau gone, I'm curious how a second season would handle that. Korn was definitely the bad guy because he said "the victor writes history". I love all of his sons and the bodyguards within the main family, but geez I don't trust Korn at all.

Can you believe it’s over, Nic? Like, what are we meant to do about our Saturdays now? I will just cry over happy ending for VegasPete until the 2nd season gets here. But honestly, so many questions remain unanswered! I might be completely off the trail, but I didn’t trust Porsche’s and Chay's mother one bit and something tells me that Korn perhaps used to be a Vegas of his family and took the position from her? Anyway, I have a feeling they are both going to be villains in season 2. My precious, beloved VegasPete! After Vegas got shot I left the house for a whole hour and only returned to the show after I had nothing else to cry. I sincerely hope that there are only good things coming for Bible and Build in the future because their acting is superb 👏🏻. I think that the way Vegas repeated the phase 'I have nothing left' shows how indoctrinated by his abusive father he was, truly believing himself worthless as he failed the mission he was raised by him for. It just broke my heart all over again. But all the deities were smiling down upon us and gave us VegasPete post credit scene! Whoever thought of Vegas sitting at the hospital with his tit out, I want to kiss your hands forever 🤧. Nothing else matters anymore, cause Vegas now has a chance to have his own little family and Macau being so inclusive of Pete straight away, NOBODY TOUCH ME, I’m crying again 🥲. Still the last ep that surprises us. All along really with unraveling the knots that are still complicated. and still do not believe that it will be the answer The drama between Vegas and Pete still makes me cry every time. The two of them were really well-exposed, the action scenes were great and the background music was really great. In the end, the characters must really be returned to the novel. The silent scrams are the best kkk you lost your mind during the ep so many times just like the rest of us. They changed something's from the novel like Porche's mother beeing alive in the show and the VP sotry beeing shorter then in the novel (vegas baby brother Venice not in the story for one). Now about KinnPorsche ...It was absolutely a masterpiece !! My thoughts were something like this --->Oh NO... It's over ....I don't want it to be over , what are we gonna do without Batshit crazy Tankhun , Horny anywhere and everywhere KInn , Lowkey Badass Kim, Psycho but loveable Vegas , Hot and bothered Porsche and Sweet but not so innocent Porchay ? I know one thing ....my saturdays will never be the same anymore after this KinnPorshe "Experience" because what a ride this was , a rollercoaster of emotions from episode one all the way till the final credits and beyond of episode 14. I didn't forget one important character...... Silly but just as Psycho Pete ,.together with Vegas they made it so that the world can't forget their performances , Pete , my silly man but with a troubled past , how could you turn into such a compassionate human to love and care for a broken ,messed up man like Vegas. Give him all your love and he will return it in tenfold ,Thank you to the cast and creators of KP for giving us this materpiece . Now I am gonna crawl in a corner and cry , and then probably rewatch from episode one !!
