Kinokuniya Bookstore in DTLA is one of my favorite places to shop for Japanese Stationery and Books. They are massive and have a really great selection of Japanese craft books and stationery.

I have been to Kinokuniya in Japan and now have gone to one in NY+NJ and Katy+Austin. I feel like they make the stores very fun in the US. It’s mostly cute stuff. I think in California they also have the specific stationary store Maido, where in NY they just have the stationary in the bottom floor. I would like to see the Maido store.
