Not sure why you say the items are weird. They are not weird, they are very special and unique.

They ARE weird, they’re interesting and strange and odd. They simply aren’t typical. The way he phrased it was a little less polite than ‘unique’, but you can tell that’s the way he’s using it. He’s not wrong, these products aren’t normal - and ‘not normal’ is all ‘weird’ is.

@@jennybeannn He totally says it to get engagement. It's just annoying for those of us who love and respect Japanese stationery. It deserves so much more respect than being called "weird".

@@junicornplays980chill out. Words can convey different meanings and can be interpreted differently depending on the context. So, if he's just using that word, it doesn't necessarily mean that he means it in a negative way.

STOP saying the word Weird in your script. The word Weird has a negative/derogatory undertone. Just because an item/person/place etc is unique, different, it doesn't mean they are weird. Your intro bro, is Weird. All your vids have this intro - a turnoff.
@nicsnook1311Ай бұрын
I see where you are coming from, but the use of weird depends on the context and expression. It can 100% be used as a way to say something is cool or unique OR different from a cultural or experiential norm, which is likely the case for non-Japanese viewers.

What is wrong with people? Why are they spending their mind energy money into stuff like this that is totally unnecessary. Don’t they have responsibilities in life towards their family and the planet?
