"The 22nd edition of the Kinoteka Polish Film Festival was probably one of the most successful we had in the last decade in terms of the number of audiences - half of our screenings were sold out - and we had a lot of screenings in huge screening rooms" - Kinoteka Artistic Director, Marlena Lukasiak
Exactly 2 weeks ago, on the 28th March, the 22nd edition of the Kinoteka Polish Film Festival came to a close on the UK's biggest screen at the BFI IMAX with a Sold Out Closing Gala screening of 'The Peasants' (BreakThru Films), which was accompanied by a premiere of the live film score played during the film by 5 musicians from the Rebel Babel Film Orchestra, who co-produced and recorded the original soundtrack to the film.
See a few highlights of the Closing Night in this short film which features a few words from Kinoteka's Artistic Director Marlena Lukasiak, the musicians from the Rebel Babel Film Orchestra, audience members and the BFI IMAX Programme Manager Madeleine Mullett.
See you next year!
