I cried at the end of the 5th movie. Barbossa is my favorite character I even have a toy of him lol. I felt sorry for his daughter she had been searching for her father and then as soon as she realizes that Barbossa is her father..he dies. I really love the 5th movie though it was exciting all the way through . I love the writing for all the pirate films . I love how complex the plots are. most of my family does not understand the plots and its funny when I explain it to them! I write Mr.Rush once in 2012 and he wrote me back! it was cool

There is a shot, within the last 5 mins of his screen time, that is my favourite clip of all time. There’s no lines, no action… it’s just Barbosa stood atop the mast, no hat, no cloak, just him with his peg-leg stood there with nothing but intent and a goal ahead. It was spot on!

I didn't want Barbossa to die either, but think about it, what else was there for him to do?? U know how it goes, if there's nothing else left for u, they gonna kill u off... Sure he could possibly be with his daughter on the next film but she's grown now, so its done. The only other goal left was the fountain of youth, but thats destroyed now....
