Instead of using clear nail polish, you can also use a lighter and melt the strings together :)

You can do that with strings that are primarily plastic, so the plastic melts, but I wouldn't recommend doing that on cotton strings. But that's just what my mom says, you don't have to listen to me lol have a good day!

Hi People i think for example if you tie your string to a water bottle so it’s folded over, you just braid the top and then do the rest normally. then after that at the beginning of the bracelet where you have the loop, just cut it so you have the strings just sticking out. hopefully this helps :)
