Kinship: Resource Family Approval Process

The Kinship Navigator program supports relative caregivers (i.e. grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.) by offering information, referral, and linkage to community resources, as well as follow-up services to help meet the needs of the children they are raising. The goal is to maximize the kinship caregivers’ ability to provide safety and stability and, if needed, permanency for the children in their care. The program also offers a monthly support group for kinship caregivers.
