A lot of the bottles look like production line rejects. They probably had cases and cases of bottles in a warehouse somewhere and nobody cleaned out the warehouse until the 1930's.

being a collector/ digger. I don't keep severely damaged bottles. A few dings or a small lip chip is ok..In a place like that I would be selective I know you make a living on bottles so you do what you can do.

The Jasper dump had a mass amounts of broken bottles also is this done on purpose by the bottling company?
