Welcome to my KZbin channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.

Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. 0.5% topical Pyrilutamide
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)
6. 0.1% topical dutasteride daily

I’m using topical finasteride along with a caffeine shampoo that has dramatically decreased shedding months before I started the topical finasteride. I’ve noticed quite a bit of hair density occur. The problem is I’m not seeing much if any of my miniaturized hair increasing in length. Since it took many years for the miniaturized hairs to get this short, is there a possibility that they will lengthen, but take years to get back to normal length? I know this has to do with follicles getting smaller, so can they reverse back to normal with treatment. If not, are there treatment to reverse the miniaturized or length of hair/follicle size? I have androgenetic allopecia.

I lost significant ground by stopping Pyru around the time after that “negative” study took place. Since then I’ve been on RU for a month and have improved hair growth but I’m noticing some minor side effects so I’m going back on Pyru.

I’ve been on pyrilutamide from RU direct for 2 months now. It’s not doing F all as far as I can tell. Not even get rid of the itch. So I will be trying a different company as I’ve been disappointed with results

Brother I did my hair transplant exactly 14 months ago. I had great results after 10-12 months and I enjoyed the new hairline because it framed my face really well. However I went off finasteride briefly and stopped prp’s as well. During this time I had high levels of stress since I moved from India to Canada. After closely looking at my hairline and comparing it to older pics it’s very evident that I’ve lost transplanted hair at the hairline. How is that possible when the transplanted hair is DHT resistant? Also if I start finas again would I be able to regrow the lost hair at my hairline?
