I joined the design sessions a few days ago and have been going nuts for the content and quality of your sessions! Where can I write a review? Just have to say, I’m learning more from your sessions than I did from my four year accredited interior design program. I moved here to Dallas from Chicago 28 years ago. The Oak Cliff neighborhood where I work had $25,000 blue collar homes built in the 1920's. Those homes are now $350,000 to $450,000. Gentrification. My brother in Chicago looks at our real estate down here. ..and it has gotten pretty expensive in comparison to Chicago. One advantage of living here is that there is no state income tax. However, what you don't pay in state income tax, you pay in personal property taxes. The best time to have bought a home here would have been in 2008 when our country was having its long recession. Many people simply walked way from their homes and they sold surprisingly cheap. I told my brother at that time, that if someone knew they would have a job (most people were not sure if they would), it would be a good time to buy. McKinney is a nice place to live. However, I think their traffic is a little much. Rebecca, your videos are the BEST !!! Thanks for creating and posting this!

I would love to see you use the same Kinwoven colors you used during Christmas and incorporate them into spring with some lighters colors...maybe white. Sometimes you don't have the money to buy different pillows for a different season so it's nice knowing you can use some of the same things you have with a twist. Thanks. Love you guys!

There are number of decorate for Spring videos on youtube, but none of them are up to par with the Spring tablescape you last vlogged a couple of years ago, so I am thrilled you will do another one... what colour? I truly think you should shop your stash and decorate for Spring with what you have. Since you are moving soon you may not wish to invest in new decor items and save that for your new house. However, if you’re wanting to mix things up and try something new, I would like to see you rock 2020’s color of the year... PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue. I mean, what’s the point of changing the color of the year each and every year, if we don’t see how the best designers are using it? P.S. I think McKinney is so quaint, with a small town feel and big city conveniences! Plus, you’d be close to Dallas Market Center for work projects! Heaven!!! Oh, in case you didn’t get a big enough dose when in Tulsa... Oklahoma highways are THE WORST! It’s like driving on a wash board! I drive through the entire state on the way South to Plano, TX when visiting my sister. You’ll need a chiropractor and new dental work after those highways... and I would think more dental work is not sounding too appealing to you at the moment! 😉😉😉 Excited to see the rest of the locations on your list! But so far, McKinney, TX with their tax breaks, amenities, great schools (check out Allen school district serving part of McKinney), nice homes, low crime rate, and Market being close by, definitely has my vote! 🙋🏻‍♀️

Yes! Please come to Texas!! I will say one thing if you decide to explore the Austin area again.. Look at the smaller cities surrounding her. They are less expensive, have lower taxes, and friendlier city council. Also, the Texas Hill Country (where I live) has some of the most wonderful wineries and breweries in the country 😊

Next year 2022 we are buying a home in mckinney texas. We have 4 sons. 2 in Anna. And 1 in Plano. 1 here in Grove City ohio. Our last grandchild graduates next year 2022 and we are buying a small Home and living large. Lol. Living simply. 🙂🙂. Will use those awesome ideas of yours .that I saved in my phone. To be dazzle Our small castle. You are adored And love. Your new chapter lifted Me. I was sad to retire and leave A lifetime of friendship. But I will give each of them a photograph of our finished castle and a picture of the extra bedrooms with an open invite to come visit anytime. I'm a home stager northeast of Dallas and I'm about to stage a 1/2 million dollar house in McKinney. It's a gorgeous area and depending on the neighborhood you can get great bang for your buck up there. It's got a ton of amenities and is adjacent to Allen and Frisco that are both packed with shopping, entertainment, fantastic food. I have a feeling y'all would feel pretty at home in Frisco, Allen or McKinney.

Don’t move to Texas until you look at Southlake! It is the BEST small city in the DFW area. (See our Emerald Belles on AGT) We have the nicest people, the BEST schools (seriously), a beautiful town square that really is a gathering place. Native Texans, moved to CA for 8 years and chose to move back to SLake. Folks in McKinney are great, but it’s a haul in traffic to the design district. We are 35 min from Ft Worth, 35 min from downtown Dallas, and 12 min from the airport. You’ll want that pool for sure - our summers get hot. Oh & you can also go boating at Lake Grapevine which borders Southlake. I’m not in real estate, but I am a big fan of yours, so Come On to Texas! You’ll love it here!

The spray on the toilet - In Brasil any company that has more than certain amount of women working there, they have to have this water spray. Many houses have that as well, and so my mom’s house. What a way to keep yourselves clean after going to the bathroom. Love that!
