Good point! I still admire that slide valve tunning jig! I think ill stay with spatula and rat tail file for the moment. Im just getting into this science.

Hi Roger. He uses an app called Cleartune Chromatic Tuner. I think it costs 3 or 4 bucks.

you are showing the tuning for "sucking" or INhaling.....how do you tune for "blow" or exhale?.........

Inhale or blow, the reed doesn’t care. It’ll sound either way when placed reed side up on the machine.
