I grew up in a time where beating even killing a gay man was celebrated.Then Heartstopper came around, thank you Alice, and succeeded in helping my physiological heath. Heartstopper has done for me that 40 years of therapy could not. Your reaction,comments are sooo hilarious , insightful and very heartfelt. I love watching your channel. I get a lot of joy from seeing your reactions and the love you have for your community. If it helps, this season hit me like a TON of bricks emotionally too. I have supported my partner through serious mental health issues for years and although I never regret being there for them, it was incredibly hard and lonely. I wish someone was there for me to say all these things Nick's aunt said. To top it off I didn't realise I was bi till a few years ago! Instead, I ignored my own mental health for so long that it's been catching up with me. I bawled when watching this as I felt SO SEEN with Nick. At the ripe age of 37, this 'show for teenagers' has helped me want to make positive changes and healed me in ways I didn't know that I needed. ❤

You are becoming one of my favorite reactors. I'm not on Discord but I look forward to new stuff you post here on YT. Heartstopper is such a special show and this season they really leveled up the way they handle important, but sometimes sensitive topics. My first watch of this season, I held my tears until Nick's talk with his aunt on the beach and then it was all over. The next couple episodes make sure you got some Kleenex because it's a journey. But the best thing about this show is that even when it gets heavy, they still manage to leave us feeling hopeful, renewed and full of love for these characters and this world. And this season is no exception.

Bullying occurs in all walks of life and at all ages. I'm in my 50s and four years ago I was bullied out of a job that I adored and had waited years for. I had 10 years of fulfilled happiness until my bully decided to ruin my life. His aggression reduced me to a nervous wreck. I'm a shadow of my former self. The bully however, has gone from strength to strength and I've since learned that I was the 3rd person out of a total of SEVEN other people he has managed to ruin. Many people say that bullies eventually get their comeuppance and karma gets them. I don't believe that at all. I'll bear the scars of his menacing for the rest of my life.

i love u babe, wishing u the best on your journey, i know from experience its a lot, i used to be on the heavier side as a child, and when the bullying and family comments got so bad, as a teen i went to the other extreme and couldn't keep weight on me at all......took me a long time to process a lot of it, and not to say im fully healed, but i havent relapsed in years now, and food is way less daunting, if at all now....i love u, ik it's hard, but just know it does get better on the otherside 🤍
