Thanks for the videos. I'm getting the same model 2020 shorty. Can't wait. Maintenance and beer are necessary for a father's sanity.

Thanks.Tthe manual doesnt show the cutouts on the illustration Check it out.. I figured it was between the cut outs, The oil fill place is like impossible,almost to get at. I have to change the Hydraulic filter for my 50 hour service. A lot harder to do than on the OLd Kubota L 2800. I will get a sealed fill funnel. Good idea. Thanks again.

How do you pick which type of oil? I live in Tennessee Appalachia. Probably use the tractor more in the summer than the winter but I do use it in the winter as well.

I just got a new CK3510 would you believe I walked around that engine for 20 minutes and could not find that oil filler cap, I'm assuming yours is like mind even though yours is hydro, my next option was to flip through 3000 pages of bla bla bla in the owners manual...........

The "home-lowners , Operator's Manual " IS yer Best friend. I doubt that it had 3000 pages; more like 150-- maybe. When my "kubogy MX5200 " got delivered 6 years ago ,it "SAT" in the driveway for 3 1/2 hours while l read,studied,& comprehended the THREE "Operator's Manuals" ( tractor ,loader, backhoe). This was the BEST 3 1/2 hours of my life wasted. With 950 hours of "delicate-severe USE" it has served me FLAWLESSLY WELL. Did the same with my other Massey-Ferguson 1736m power-shuttle with loader ( only took 2 hours). It was something l did "because" l put a LOT of money down before all the "home-lowners /Action" started. It just "Cracks me up" when the "New Twack-tor Home-lowner" jumps on his "NEW- TRAK-TOR " and starts "pulling-leavers" with just 1% knowledge aquired from the dealership & U-tube vidios. I guess the "main reason";= they just "signed & drived"= ZERO MONEY DOWN ; cause they "Didn't have a dime of there OWN money IN IT'.

I noticed that you didn't have cap on your drain pan. That could of been an OOOOPSSS!!
@briannovak16113 жыл бұрын
You add cold thick 15w40, start the engine for 30 sec, then check the oil right away??? That oil will take 2hrs to all drain back to the pan.
@briannovak16113 жыл бұрын
That engine only holds about 7qts of oil.
