Been living in New England for nearly 30 years but I pay close attention to events mashinani Kenya. Very insightful panel featuring a man of integrity and command of issues that few of today's leaders in Kenya possess. K arap Kirwa çemented his legacy in Kenya's history well before the new millennium. If Ruto were a wise man, this is the gentleman whose advice he ought to seek from his Kalenjin folk and pay premium money for, siyo akina Sudi, Mandango, A. Cheruiyot and the retinue of court jesters he surrounds himself with. The Kirwa family must be one of sages. I was a student leader in Moi University during the YK'92 phenomenon and knew his brother, George Kapten; an officer and a gentleman to boot. May his soul continue to rest peacefully. Kudos my man, K. Kirwa. History is replete with great leaders who lost many battles before ultimately attaining victory. Your election losses are not for nought, sir.

I have tremendous respect for this gentleman Kipruto Kirwa. He seems the sole wiseman standing. He should tell us how come for 5,000 years, Egypt has been using water coming from lake Victoria thru the Nile river to feed itself and export now fruits to Kenya but in the 21st century Kenya can't do the same and use God-given water bodies to feed itself outside rain based agriculture.

Very insightful interview and a sharp mind the former Minister has. If only we can include, in detailed ministerial policies and laws, all solutions he has so that irregardless of the leader, we have proper guard rails in place.

@dukakisomondi8552 Жыл бұрын
Do u eat plantain and cassava?And where exactly can i get those today, mr wiseman? u are very naive, like Antoinette of france who told people to eat cake if there is no bread, forgetting that the problem was not one of choice, but one of availability and affordability.then u find a person like u eti ndio voter!totally ignorant.

Kenya doesn't need to import maize. Cut taxes and regulations and farmers will produce enough food. And private sector provide storage area store maize. Government wants citizenry remain poor. Never allow farmers produce food. Control citizenry keeping them poorer. Enjoy serekali yenyu kikuyu and kalenjin nation

It's Ruto to make things better. He talked too much as if he knew how to solve the problems. He must now stop his 2027 campaigns and deliver on his promises

u will be a very foolish driver if you always stare in the side mirror. someone went to look for a job of being president. He looked at the situation and saw problems. he went ahead and made promises. He gave timelines.why cant he fulfill the promises in the timelines he gave?why blame those who he replaced?

If the gvt could buy maize from the farmers and stored for them, would that that stop drought? My question directed to Kirwa. Kirwa should stop being bitter about President Ruto (on personal levels as he has always been). Such ppl would only give us unreal analysis and the show looses it's taste.
