In Hk you can definitely find rooms for $5k better than what is shown, you just need to look around and negotiate. Always watch out for dodgy HK landlords, they sometime discount you but then cheat on the utilities, I lost $15k to them because I was naive thinking people in HK would be nice, do more research to avoid getting ripped off by heartless HK landlords.
