How much clay can you make to a good size?
I will explain in an easy-to-understand manner the amount of clay for making it to the desired size.
Using each amount of clay, I molded works of the same shape with an electric potter's wheel and compared the sizes.

今後、作品を作るに辺り粘土の量が参考に成りました。また、量が分かり、慣れてきたら、幾つか作る時に器の大きさが揃うのかと気づき轆轤にむかうのが、益々面白くなりそうです。お猪口から、中華そばの器まで遊びごごろでチャレンジしてみます。

Thank you for this helpful video. Could you please make a short video on the best way to take clay from a failed effort and then recycle it for a future pot. I see at the end of this you folded in the example pots. If there is already a video of your method for recycling clay please direct me. Again...thank you very much for your generous videos.

Thank you for your comment. If you fail, you can try again and use it. If it is not fired in a kiln, it will return to clay and can be reused.

Thank you for your comment. It's a sake bottle... Why not try adjusting the amount of clay yourself first? You might get some points out.

500gのとき、粘土が滑っても焦らず落ち着いて切り直せば良いのかと、いろいろ参考に成りました。

コメントありがとうございます。土ゴロシの時に粘土が動いてしまったら、再度中心に接着すればリスタート出来ます。最初にズレてしまうと焦りますが、丁寧にリカバリーすると大丈夫です。

Hello teacher! I have a question that I'm sure you know how to answer. When I open the hole to make the base of the cylinder, it is very difficult for me and the clay is off-center. Could this be because the clay is too hard or not wedged? Thank you so much!

Thank you for your comment. If the clay is off center, it will be difficult to make! The cause is the hardness of the clay, but I think the main factor is insufficient adhesion between the turntable and the clay. I think the problem can be solved if you can firmly tap the clay to firmly adhere the turntable and clay when setting the clay. please refer.
