[Ceramic decoration] Decorate with a "spring blade".

"Spring blade" decoration is one of the decoration techniques of ceramic art.
It is a technique that uses a unique blade to scrape off the slip at regular intervals to create a pattern.
It's a decoration technique famous for "Koishiwara ware" and "Onta ware" in the Kyushu region!
This time, I tried to see if it could be beautifully decorated using a "spring blade".

今回の試作は　やはり乾燥度合でしたね　カンナの角度も大事で、回転速度とも関係します　奥が深いですね！

Do you think the angle at which you hold the spring blade also affects the outcome?

Thank you for your comment. As you say, the angle also has an effect. Clay hardness, potter's wheel speed, blade angle ... I think these are important.

自動車のワイパーのブレードを交換した時に残ったステンレスの棒でﾄﾋﾞｶﾝﾅを作ってみました。結構おんだ焼きっぽくなりました。

ワイパーブレードのステン棒でも作れるんですね！弾力があれば使える金属は多そうですね！
