One of the things I love about Kirby music is that it reuses so many themes, and I can usually recognize when they do this but I never know exactly where the theme comes from, giving it a very very unique sense of nostalgia.

Oh wow! I never would have guessed that Float Islands was based on a previous theme from an Adventures of Lolo game! I thought the connections ended at them both being developed by HAL and Lololo/Lalala being based on Lolo/Lala. Great video!

In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, there is a song called Abandoned Beach and it sounds like it uses pieces from Float Islands.

The Super Star Rest Area is my favorite piece of music ever made. It brings back all the memories that I cherish and love, and every time I play the game it makes me happy. It is such a simple theme that carries so much weight to it. Thanks for making this compilation so I can listen to them all again 🙂

Thank you for doing this video, Float Islands is one of my favorite themes! And thank you for incluiding the Kirby 64 ones and Bountiful Star, this last one is like a loose remix of Float Islands. Also, I think that "Sea Stage" of Super Star have a part similar to Float Islands, at least in the beginning.

This was always one of my favorite themes and I think Sakurai agrees considering how many times he uses it in his games. Always made me happy to hear this even if I didn't totally understand it was a rendition of the same theme. Wish other themes (looking at you Lifelight) managed to make up fresh new versions of the same theme as successfully as this one
