The TRUE reason it happens is because Kirby is trying to collect the Assist Trophy. One that doesn't exist.

Maybe the pot was trying to absorb the assist trophy as well, but since Kirby picked it up at the last second, it must've been trying to search for the AT's data, ignoring the fact that Kirby grabbed it.

Wow. If you look closely between 0:39 and 0:41, and then stop the video at 0:40, you noticed that right before Blue Kirby goes into the pot with the assist trophy, he lands on the platform. As soon as he lands on the platform, he was supposed to release the assist trophy with an animation, but the pot asorbed him as he was about to.That is really the reason Pink Kirby glitched because he was trying to asorb the assist trophy that should have been on screen. At least that's what think happened.
