What kind of polish do you use on vacuum cleaners?

As much money we pay for this vacuum you would think it was built like a tank. LOL. Thanks for the video mate.

I think it is built like a tank...what other vacuum out there is worthy enough to rebuild or even have replacement parts for it? Tanks break down too. I bought my first Kirby in 1980...it still runs but has no power drive, 4-5yrs ago I bought a used Sentria on eBay for $360 it's like new and I'm sure will last my lifetime. That first Kirby bought in 1980 I bought because I needed a vacuum for my new house and Kirby sales rep came into our housing development and I was young and dumb and paid around $2400 w/all attachments. That was just plain stupid. Years later I found out it's like buying a car and you have to negotiate the price...live and learn. For $360 on eBay I considered that a really good deal.

Thanks for the video. How would you know if your Kirby needs belt/transmission repair ? My Kirby G10 started making a loud buzzing noise and seems not to be vacuuming with the same power-this happened after I vacuumed something (not sure what) but Ive already checked nothing is stuck by the fan and also cleaned out the terminal by where the back sits (changed the bag as well) found a couple of coins and 2 metal pins that were bent. However, problem still persists. Any suggestions are appreciated. thank you!!!

I'd recommend you bring it into your local shop and have it serviced

I want to now if it is possible to put a high low speed switch in another Kirby Like in the Kirby Diamond Model? I have seen videos on KZbin with people taking apart the Diamond Kirby but they never show or discus this switch or were the wires connect into the electrical.
@PerformanceReviews5 жыл бұрын
It would be an expensive list of parts but it would be possible. I don't know why you'd want to do it ? The Kirby is pretty underpowered as is you'd end up using it on the high setting anyways.

My kirby belt will NOT go back on. Says this belt fits all! There is no way this handle is being turned all the way without snapping the handle off
