Galacta Knight slashing Star Dream was such a great touch. It's basically his way of saying that he'd gladly fight Meta Knight, not because some machine wants to test him, but purely because he WANTS to as a warrior with pride.

It was pretty exciting to see Galacta Knight return, but i have a couple questions to ask about it. Why did he slash star dream? why does he want a rematch even though Kirby and Meta Knight beat him twice? And how come he is not dead when he literally see him die at the end of Meta Knightmare Ultra?

I feel that HAL should've put Dark Matter Clone as the final boss of MetaKnightmare instead of Galacta Knight, because in all honesty, seeing him reappear again in a Kirby game kind of lost its hype meter since he already made a comeback in Return to Dreamland, so seeing him again really isn't worth getting hyped up for. Dark Matter on the other hand is a completely different beast. The fact that HAL brought back a member of a race that was once the major antagonist of the Kirby franchise & hasn't made an appearance since Kirby 64 (not counting its cameo appearance in the RPG mini-game in Mass Attack) is REALLY big news for a lot of diehard Kirby fans out there.

One of the best options HAL could've gone with is have Dark Matter as final secret boss instead of Galacta Knight, and give him more forms, make him more powerful, etc. If they really wanted to bring Galacta Knight back, they should've had him do something truly spectacular, like a new form, many new attacks, new phases, etc. Something we haven't seen him do before. Too bad we got little from that. But I'm sure we can all agree that Sectonia Clone was filler and didn't need to exist. The only reason it did is because they needed sword users for Meta Knight to fight because fitting.

Really? I mean, the Dark Matter Clone was really cool, but the Sectonia Clone was by far the worst extra fight. First of all, Sectonia was literally in the *very last Kirby platformer*. It's just kind of boring and repetitive, since we just saw her in Triple Deluxe. And her battle kinda sucks. The original Sectonia had a cool, memorable fight. But the clone is just... bland. It has far less attacks than the original, and feels sort of rushed and half-baked compared to Dark Matter Clone. It's kind of hard to describe, but it simply feels incomplete. Galacta Knight's return was predictable, with Meta Knight and all. This fight really just seemed like a copy pasted version of his RT DL moveset with a few new moves and techniques, as well as being slightly smarter, and deadlier. Dark Matter Clone rocked. Sectonia Clone sucked. Galacta Knight Returns could've done better.

1: i only know that dark matter appears in dreamland 2 and dreamland 3, and zero in dreamland 3 and kirby 64 2: did you rode the entire comment? (he came back in kirby's return to dreamland and NOW after 1 game) kirby triple deluxe was released after return to dreamland, that's what i said

I think this game might be a prequel rather than a sequel, Galacta Knight get sealed up in the crystal and gets sent across time and space. When he first showed up it wasn't through the cloning process like Dark Matter.

I guess Meta Knight was the one who originally sealed Galacta Knight away before the events of Super Star Ultra (based on the crystal surrounding him at the end of the fight)? If so, that's a pretty neat twist.

+ArapaiMatt Galacta Knight was sealed away out of fear that his power was too great. When Meta Knight beat him in Planet Robobot, he sealed GK away because he attacked him. Thus, Galacta's first sealing must've occurred long ago, during his time.

The ending makes me wonder: is Kirby: Planet Robobot a prequel to Return To Dreamland? Notice the Galacta Knight clone aborts battle in the same crystal that was seen before you fought him in the True Arena of Kirby:RTD.

+Justin Okoh I think that isn't true, because the Sphere Doomers appear in this one as mini bosses that the 2nd main boss spawns, and they were presumably created from Kirby's memories, seeing as the others were bosses he fought previously, including Kracko and the snake thing from Triple Deluxe I don't care to remember the name of. Also, that crystal is a Galacta Knight signature, as it appeared in KSSU as well, where he debuted.
