I'd love to see them in 3D or 2.5D, whatever, I think they'd work really well, especially with how some bosses change the camera angle during a battle, it'd be cool to see that while the background is changing from day to night

Kirby is but a child, he only knew at the time that King Dedede at first, was causing trouble again, so he did what he did, he didn't know what truly happened with the Star Rod with Nightmare, King Dedede just did it on his own, and was defensive, attacking Kirby and not explaining himself on his actions. Kirby can't be blamed entirely for that when King Dedede kept that to himself and should have explained himself, although I wonder how that would turn out when Kirby knows how to eat, sleep, play, and fight when the time comes. King Dedede since the first game, has continued to be his same selfish, stubborn self, proclaiming to be the King, does ridiculous things because of that self-proclamation. You can't blame Kirby for his view of Dedede and knocked him back when Dedede was getting in his way, he was trying to do the right thing, which was putting the Star Rod back in its rightful place. It got turned into a fight for Dreamland and their inhabitant's dreams after Nightmare showed himself and Kirby blew him up,....along with a portion of the moon.

Objection! Dedede never bothered to remind Kirby of that, spending about seven levels for his bosses and himself trying to stop him. Kirby is only but a child, and only knew that King Dedede was up to no good again. Had King Dedede explained himself after he broke the Star Rod into pieces, Kirby would have at least took care of this sooner. King Dedede only has himself to blame for that. Yeah, he did ultimately helped Kirby saved Dreamland, however, why did it have to take seven levels, and seven bosses later for Nightmare, when it should take way less than that to solve the problem? All King Dedede had to do was somehow tell Kirby about that. But nope, he had to do things his way, and look what happened?

It's possible, and his intentions were pure enough. However, Dream Land's inhabitants still couldn't dream, that was still a problem that had to be solved by Nightmare's destruction. Dedede wasted time fighting Kirby instead of showing him proof of what was Dream Land's true problems back then in the game. Humiliated or not, Dedede should have sought out Kirby sooner, especially after finding out twice about how persistent and strong Kirby could be. Although it wouldn't be a game at all if it was done that way.

leon4000 Dedede attempted to fix a problem. To stop nightmare, he shattered the star rod. Kirby doesn’t listen to reason. Dedede tried that, as shown in a certain cutscene. Knowing that Kirby wouldn’t listen, he hid the pieces and guarded them. Then to stop Kirby he attacked him. When that failed he tried to explain, which didn’t work.

Only shows Dedede's incompetence for a self-proclaimed king. Kirby was already peeved off after that fight. Would you believe someone who keeps getting in your way and caused you amounts of trouble? I don't blame Kirby even a little, since it seems all King Dedede seems to do is do things his way and not do the smart thing, which is get Kirby on it post haste. Besides Kirby needed those pieces to form the true star rod. As for TeM's comment. The nightmare was wiped out just barely after its debut. It was trapped in the Fountain which was temporary, it doesn't help for Nightmare that he weakened by the Star Rod's power. and he was ultimately obliterated, so it all worked out.

This might have just been specific to my cartridge but my family and I had a glitch on our game where if you attacked Nightmare too many times when he wasn't vulnerable the screen would go completely black for everything except Kirby himself. At that point you were pretty much soft-locked as you could only walk and jump around this black space in silence (besides for jump sounds). I always thought it was just a weird side-effect for playing incorrectly but it didn't occur to me that it could be a glitch. I've never seen anyone else mention it so I think it was just our cartridge.

I just came up with a theory about one of the bosses, Mr. Shine (the moon guy). Notice, he looks like a crescent moon, with the "unlit" part just not being there. At the end of this game, when Nightmare dies, the resulting explosion blasts out part of the moon, rendering it a permanent crescent. Mr. Shine is the moon both shrunk and sent back in time to try and keep Kirby from blowing him up, and wound up in possession of a Star Rod piece, keeping Nightmare sealed in the Fountain of Dreams, and keeping him from blowing up in his face.

Planet Popstar is known to have multiple solar and lunar bodies surrounding it. Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright appear in several games, but usually only have control over the night and day of their area. I believe they are also the same sun and moon Marx set to fighting. There's the faced moon where Meta Knight is fought, which has a nose, unlike Mr. Shine. The Nightmare-blasted crescent moon appears both in this game and at the beginning of Triple Deluxe, while a different, fully intact moon appears at the end of Deluxe.

So for that past several decades we've been told that Kirby's Adventure used the MMC5 enhancement chip. But suddenly we're being told it actually used the MMC3 chip except for one problem. The MMC3 chip allowed for a maximum rom of 4 megabits. Kirby's Adventure Uses a 6 megabit rom, and only the MMC5 chip allows for a rom bigger than 4 megabits. The huge number of different tiles show this as well.
