In my opinion, this song feels like such an outstander in the Remix Community. I listen to a lot of artists and they usually avoid this song because of its heavy emphasis on extreme high and low tones, Making this remix a very bold statement of what Qumu’s capable of. I video edit for someone that does remixes all the time and even he tried to remix this song. A good reason why I know what makes this song difficult is because the person I was working with hasn’t even published the remix yet. (He’s still working on it though.) I just love the SNES-like lead at 1:04, and that slapping bass at 1:47. Overall, I think this is a very nostalgia-inspired song retaining what I love about the original. Thank you Qumu for the amazing remix that blows my expectations out of the sky. -DukeOfDumb

I think this just might've been completely in my wheelhouse then, because I didn't feel much friction when making this, and it was definitely not intended as a statement Thank you very much!! I literally accidentally found the sound source (maybe not the actual source, but the same waveform) for an instrument used in the Nightmare in Dream Land version of the song when I was looking for a suitable substitute to keep the timbre of the instrument. I just had to keep it in :D Spent a long time on the bass though, that's probably where most of my effort went, so I appreciate hearing that ^^ Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words!! @@qumumusic Forgive me for the usage of the word “statement”, I’ve been on a hiatus from KZbin for about two years and I’m not up with the times with certain word definitions. What I meant to say is that you have a different standard on your remixes than most. A lot of artists usually play it safe and go with something relevant based on statistics or what is the latest trend. But from what I can see, what you do is different. It seems like you choose the songs freely with what you enjoy remixing first. It’s something I wish more people would do. Funnily enough, The way I found your channel was by searching for an obscure video game song that I loved. (That happened to be a “a Hat in Time” song.)
