@CrappyCaptureDevice That move is called the 'Final Cutter' and indeed is from the cutter ability. This move is also included in the Master ability that Kirby gets from inhaling Master Hand (miniboss) in the Amazing Mirror.

I think Kirby's forward throw is much more like what happens when you press the jump button after grabbing an enemy with Suplex. It goes through the exact same motions, though obviously doesn't make you jump forward nearly as far.

final cutter was originally from the cutter ability, before it was changed to sword, but in kirby's return to dreamland, final cutter is a cutter abilty once again

So the moves that were not covered (up smash, down smash, aerial A-moves, and A-moves on ground that are not the rapid punch) are original for the Smash Bros. series? Also, when you jump escape from a grab as Kirby, it looks like the aerial-downward kick from the Ninja and/or Fighter ability.

no, the smash ability in amazing mirror is based on kirby's moves in melee, which in that particular example is, yes, based on fighter kirby's 'vulcan jab' move

What about down tilt. In newer kirby games like Return To Dreamland, Kirby can crouch then press jump and do a slide attack. In Smash Bros kirby doesnt slide but just does it in a single spot.

They should of kept the air hammer attack from melee its more like the hammer from the games. They could of also made it an overall better attack and more references it they let you swing it a couple of times when moving like the ice climbers or allowed you to charge it a bit when standing still

In Smash Bros. series, Kirby's Stone can only null 50% damage, so when Kirby is hit twice with the item Hammer, the Stone transformation will disappear and Kirby will take damage.

Now before watching the video, let me just say this. Kirby's moves are really easy to identify. Most of Kirby's moves come from his ability "Fighter". Now you would say, "If you know where Kirby's moves come from, then why would you even watch this video." Answer is "Well, first, I am a Kirby fan. Second, I like this kind of stuff (Explaining Games). Third, I might learn something new!" So there you have it THAT IS WHY. (Just remembered) Oh, the other answer is "BECAUSE." :P

Actually, in Kirby's funpak/super star If you use suplex, grab and enemy, and then press B. That is kirby's forward through in smash bros, not just pressing forward.

A note about Kirby's Stone ability that you did NOT note.... he CAN be knocked out of it, he has to be grabbed.
