I found 2 Sentria's at different thrift stores, 1 had the curved zipper which is being used at work and the other had the straight zipper like this one and I sold it to my co-worker. All you're missing from your attachments is the zip brush.

I've got the same one, updated emptor and all. It basically has the same performance level as an Avalir, and I love how its color scheme looks compared to the Sentria 2.

I much prefer the pre-Sentria G series too. The Sentria marked the decline of Kirby for me. The plastic base, the overall cheap feeling of the Sentria. I have one, it’s also a later model with the newer style emtor. I don’t hate it. I like the look of this better than the Sentria 2. Though the Avalir is my favorite of the more modern G’s. And the newer ones seem to have a lot of TechDrive issues. I’ve bought 3 Avalirs to clean and resell. All 3 had some sort of issue with the TechDrive. Usually having very weak assist. I do daily my Avalir right now and I like it. My favorite is probably the Diamond Edition or Gsix. The newer G’s aren’t bad machines at all. But the older ones were nicer.

Thats nice and kode1996 used to have a sentria but it’s the 2 version but he upgraded to the avlir 2 if I’m not mistaken the spelling of the newer Kirby but he upgraded and he said it’s nice and has a new rug shampoo tray and a attachments tool bag and he still kept the dirt meter as a bagless kit with pad pods so I like the dirt meter way better and it’s easier to if the pad pod gets full easy to change the pod and continue with the cleaning so hope you get one and add for the collection of the Kirbys and then I like to see a whole house vacuum with your aunts new central vacuum that I like to see carpets lines of the EBK-360 and see what it picked up and do some deep cleaning the carpets with the bissell proheat 2X 12 amp

This along with the Sentria II are my least favorite Kirbys. Using it as a dirt meter is for test demo purposes only, it's not in anyway better than using it as bagged. The bags on these are HUGE, easier and cleaner to change out, you don't empty it out as often, they don't lose as much airflow, motor would last longer, they filter better, and they're cheaper in the long run. It literally doesn't make any sense why someone would want to use that dirt meter as bagless, might as well just go buy one of those awful Jim Keeler bagless conversion kits. Or my recommendation is to just use a older Kirby with a shakeout bag if you don't want to buy bags. Anyways with that being said, there won't be another video of the Proheat 2X as it's since been retired. We nowadays hire a professional as they do the best job. But I am looking to get a used Bissell Big Green or Rug Doctor Mighty Pro as a backup. And there likely won't be anymore videos with the Allegro unless I pick up some Miele canisters with a EBK360 equipped.
@justinlyonsPawPatrol Жыл бұрын
@@panasonicvac4036 oh yeah the mieles with the EBK-360 but if you get a EBK-360 with a LED headlight that will work for the Miele canisters and I do remember the bissell big green that bill AKA vaclab that Thomas has one and Thomas said that they deep clean very well with its big dirtlifter power brush and people does like it but the rug doctor will be discontinued the machines but except for the cleaning solutions that will work for Hoover and bissell carpet cleaners and I don’t think that you are trying the new shark carpet xpert that had just released so I don’t think you will try it’s a automatic carpet cleaner like the Hoover smart wash so just wanted to let you know about that so hope the Miele vacuum video with the EBK-360 will be awesome and how the carpet grooms

First off, you need to check with your punctuation. You're making way too many run-on sentences so it's harder for me to understand your conjunction. Secondly, Miele also sells the Wessel Werk SEB236 Electro Premium with a headlight that's a way better powerhead than the EBK360. Thirdly, Rug Doctor already discontinued the original Mighty Pro but not the X3. Plus they are still making parts for the original Mighty Pro, that's a rule they have to follow because once you discontinue a product, you're contracted to support it for the next 10 years. Fourthly, I won't use any Rug Doctor formulas on my carpets. They'll attract more dirt on the carpet if they're not flushed out completely. I'd only use what the professionals have like Chemdry for example. And fifthly, I'm not interested in any new carpet cleaner like the Shark if it's not commercial grade. I don't like disposable products at all period.

What a great demo

the channel performance review doesn't seem to think these are all that....I honestly don't know. I hear direct air machines are much better at deep cleaning but others say bypass can clean just as well....Watching a Kirby work... I dunno... It sure seems like it sucking to the carpet and pulling everything out

I humble think Kirbys can do fine at some places like this one and I believe yours as well, but Kirbys overall aren't the best in my opinion. I used to think at one point they were until I later got to use some powerful bypass machines to where I find they actually do a better job through my experience. My grandparents' cheap Dirt Devil bagless upright from target for example did outcleaned both of their Kirbys (G4 and Tradition). Even there are some direct air vacuums that I think do better than Kirbys like Royal, Sanitaire, and Tandem Air. I do disagree with Performance Reviews that Hoover Concepts can outclean a Kirby or even a Royal but I find that's not the case. I think he just mostly views by what can sweep up better. Yes a Hoover Concept can sweep up better than a Kirby because there are more grooming tracks but I've seen proof that Kirbys can deep clean better than the Concepts.

Nice machine. I read your description thoroughly and I agree that the G4 is a better machine. Not saying the Sentria is bad by any means, but I favor the older Kirbys over the newer models. I have seen transmissions in G3s and G4s that are still in decent condition, and then I have run into issues with the newer ones. The Generation 4 is a well-rounded G series. I love the color and performance. I have the Diamond Edition, and I love it, but I have a 519 that I like better.
@panasonicvac4036 Жыл бұрын
Right? I think the G4 is my all time favorite tech drive Kirby, the Diamond Edition would be my second favorite and it was the last Kirby that I really liked until the release of the Avalir. The Avalir takes me back to the Heritage II which is hands down my all time favorite Kirby ever.
@mattjones7621 Жыл бұрын
@@panasonicvac4036 I love the Heritage 2, also. I have serviced and rebuilt many Heritage 2s and G4s more than any other Kirby. That was a great period for them. Actually, I love the ones from the 1950s-1990s. Before I bought the Diamond Edition, I was considering buying a G4 or G5. The reason I went with the Diamond, because of the lovely bag print, was the delicate switch. I have mostly hard flooring and rugs in my house, so it was the best choice. But, I really love using my 519 because it is smaller, lighter and no Tech Drive.
@panasonicvac4036 Жыл бұрын
That's why the Diamond Edition is my second favorite tech drive Kirby, I too love the diamond patterned outer bag and delicate switch. The G5 is my fourth favorite as I like the G6 more. I like the older Kirbys, I'm not too crazy about them because I don't care about the shakeout bags. Although my 512 uses disposable bags.
@mattjones7621 Жыл бұрын
I don't mind having one machine with a shake-out bag since I have others with HEPA filtration, but I do plan to convert my 519 to using disposable bags in the future. I did it before, but I didn't like the setup. I plan to make other changes to it like bigger wheels, etc. The Diamond has been a great machine, but I admit I had Tech Drive trouble. I finally got it fixed, but I had to replace the transmission.@@panasonicvac4036

I have two Classic Omegas and a Dual Sanitronic 80, all of them are shakeout bags. I think they're fun to have collecting wise. But the only time I would ever see myself using one with a shakeout bag is if I was vacuuming brand new carpets, I wouldn't use disposable bags for that. I remember changing out bags alot when I was using one of my G4s' and a Tradition that I used to have. At least they were paper bags as I personally don't use cloth bags anymore. Anyways, yeah that's one thing I don't like about the Diamond Edition is the tech drive isn't as reliable. Both of my G4s' work fine but my G5, G6, and Ultimate G have issues. I don't know about my G3 and Diamond Edition but I do know my Sentria luckily works still.
