Only reason Texas "fought back" in the second half was because of facemask penalties and uncalled dpi. The whole game, that Texas team was utterly dominated.

I’m not a georgia fan but Kirby Smart had every right to fire back at the refs. Big 12 fans like me all know that texas has been getting these ridiculously biased calls for years in their favor when they competed in the big 12. Thank god big 12 fans no longer have to deal with texas ruining the conference and bearing with that unwatchable longhorn network!

Only person on ESPN that picked UGA to beat Texas was Greg Mcelroy. Some of you would have anointed Sark as the king of CFB over Kirby, and Paul would be running his mouth like Kirby lost his fastball if UGA dropped to 5-2 like he predicted them too. Trust me UGA was disrespected against Texas and they played like it.

The score doesn’t really reflect how lopsided this W was. Dawgs would’ve easily hung 50 on’em had Beck not did his best (along with the receivers) to keep them in it. A few passes were off, a couple probably shouldn’t have been thrown, then the drops\gator arms. Defense was a joy to watch when the refs weren’t interjecting themselves in the game. Both targeting calls were horse #%^*. There was targeting on every tackle if we go by what they called. Anyhow, solid solid win, Go Dawgs!

I wish more coaches would speak up about officiating, especially Alabama coaches. All year long people have been complaining about how bad officiating has been in CFB the last few years except when Alabama is getting screwed over. Bama’s last 2 visits to Tenn have been the most biased, one sided, and disgustingly officiated games in my 25 Years of Playing, Coaching, and Watching Football.

@Rageousss
@Rageousss 2 сағат бұрын
@@bravetraveler1386 Not remotely to the degree that Alabama has been screwed over. For example let me share a interesting fact regarding Alabama and Officials: I’ve played, coached, and watched football for 25 years and holding calls can be called just about every play, but REFS are taught to only throw the flag for blatant holds. Anyway, there has been a in-depth study that shows frequency of Teams Opponents that get called for Holding and the % of missed Holding Calls for Teams Opponents. Alabama’s Opponents are flagged for holding an absolute astonishing 1 in every 326 snaps which’s puts Alabama in an insanely high category of their own with the next team not even on the chart. Lastly, Alabama’s Opponents get away with blatant holding around 86% of the time. This is something that needs to be investigated and should have been years ago.

I don't think you understand. As a Georgia fan I want you guys to pick against us. In fact I'd like it if ESPN would just trash talk the Dawgs the week before every game. It make Kirby and crew's jobs really easy to get their players motivated. Then at the end of the season, after Georgia has won them all, you should say, "Yeah, but next year they're going to suck."

@@jamesconner3437 It may have been the correct ruling, bad calls happen all the time - what is completely unprecedented is for a non-reviewable call to be made, walked up, have the LOS set and THEN to reverse the call. According to the rules, that is not possible - but they made it happen anyway and that's why Kirby was (rightly) livid.

Saban saw the team was on the decline and jumped off at the perfect time. He didn't want to coach Milroe another season. Bama barely beat USF last year, they needed a miracle hail mary against Auburn to get into the playoff. Saban was so vocal against NIL and the portal because he knew he lost his advantage of paying players under the table. The playing field levelled and he could not cope with it.

Among the top teams, these are near coin flip games. Therefore, it's not disrespectful to predict an edge. It's not a certain outcome of who will win. Most sports fans get caught up in narratives and then lose it all at the betting tables. And for a $13 mil /yr coach to rant about it is pretty cringe.
