Kirby Super Star known as Kirby's Fun Pak in Europe, is a 1996 platforming video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The box art states that the game features eight games in one cartridge. Most of these games are platforming-oriented, while some are mini-games. The game was later released for the Wii and Wii U Virtual Consoles. An enhanced remake titled Kirby Super Star Ultra was released for the Nintendo DS in 2008.Nintendo re-released Kirby Super Star in the United States in September 2017 as part of the company's Super NES Classic Edition.

I played this one so much it opened a hole in the cartridge. Great 3d and 2d graphics, so cute while being violent, so many power ups (with many different moves for each) awesome sound effects and soundtrack (so many variations based on just a few themes, fits every moment perfectly), great replayability and really challenging at times. The fact that it's a single SNES game is mindblowing. Badass kirby is badass.

Kirby Super Star Ultra is way harder to complete with a true 100% Revenge of the King with a sweet Dedede rematch You have to beat the arena with _20_ different helpers, and a harder version of Wham Bam Rock Then you have Meta Knightmare Ultra, with a kick-ass final boss And the True Arena, a ten-boss gauntlet. Although...you'll usually die at the 8th or 9th boss.

Could you not beat Galacta Knight?

Ah....that makes sense. Well, you never got fear the True Arena then.

I really love the new dynamic of the show. It's funny, it directly tells the audience everything they need to know about the game, there's TONS of trivia, and it's more focused than ever! Like the flow is perfect. Can't wait for next week's episode.

I miss Greg, even though I thought he was obnoxious, and I skipped a lot of his bits. But now that he's gone, it feels like something is missing. I can feel places where Greg should've said 'BUT BEARDMAN!' but I just get actually useful review instead. I'll get used to it in time: it's like Jon leaving Grumps. We miss him, and he was funny, but Danny is great, and many times is even better than Jon.

The Green Arrow I think the last episode was written with Greg (or at least a partner) still in mind. This one feels much better and more contained for a single person to handle. Honestly, I was expecting Jirard to have a longer transitional period, but I suppose it's good that he adapted so quickly.

As much as I appreciate the original, I personally prefer the DS remake more. Mostly because I have more experience with that version than the original. Benefits of the DS remake: +Three more mini games to try out. +Revenge of the King. Think of this as the hard mode version of Spring Breeze. +Meta Knightmare Ultra. It's exactly as it sounds; playing through the whole game as Meta Knight to reach his exclusive end boss. +Helper to Hero. Players get to go through the Arena as the helper characters and fight an exclusive boss at the end. 100% this mode to unlock an extra clip in the gallery and an emblem to showcase the dedication. +The True Arena. An expert mode edition of the original Arena, where players fight the bosses only in Super Star Ultra and go toe-to-toe with the True Final Boss of the game. I won't spoil it for those who haven't played this version, but Lord have mercy on your ears by the end of it.

markasscop Arev He has a lot of games to pick from to try and complete, so it makes sense that if someone actually sends a copy of the game with a letter it will take priority over say working on tales of symphonia, or saying as this game only took him 10+ hours to complete it was worth it as a favour to the fan to do that instead of choose a really short game to help give him even more time to work on his Bayonetta and Binding of Isaac review that he is working on.

The updated version Super Star Ultra for the DS is one of my favorites. You lose the easy local coop, BUT there is hardly a better travel game out there. Chill, entertaining, and enough games packed in to last a good while. Always bring it on flights or long drives where I'm not driving.

I enjoy the insight in this quite a bit, and the pace is pitch perfect. Especially because of the Zan Alda cameo! The sight gags in the gameplay footage were great and the end slate voiceover was incredible. My only real suggestion for this one is to, when you make a sarcastic joke like the Hunger Games joke, don't undercut it with the "not really" after the ridiculous statement. Let the piece of footage (hilarious) undercut it for you and really bring out that ridiculous! That's just my subjective opinion, at least.

One of my favourite Kirby games of my childhood! I love it. You should also check out Kirby's Adventure. It has a New Game Plus when you clock it (similar to Kirby's Dreamland), as well as unlocking mini games, but I'm yet to discover what happens once you clock the NG+ (My money is on unlocking the music files, lol). Great episode, and love for Kirby!

This Greg thing is really ending up kinda like the game grumps loss of Jontron... There will always be people who will whine after greg even though his probably is never coming back and even if the show will evolve more after this decision and still be an awesome show there will always be som people who will hate some of the following videos just because of this fact but just ignore them! I've noticed after watching a quite a few episodes... Jirard often seems disappointed with the rewards for 100% completion of a game. I mean honestly, it will hardly ever be worth it. If its some all powerful weapon, what's the point if you already beat everything? If its an extra ending scene its usually like 30seconds long easter egg type thing that isn't worth the time, especially with youtube existing.... I mean come on, what do you expect a blow job?

The show is so much more focused now. The comedy is well timed and doesn't overstay its welcome. There are a few factual errors here and there, such as that it isn't HAL that handles Smash most of the time (it's actually Sakurai's personal company, Sora), but still a great episode overall. Also, your episodes are always of much higher quality when the game actually has stuff to 100% complete such as this game.

Its true it shouldn't become like game grumps, like a giant conspiracy about what happened but people have every right to say they miss him. and in all honesty I'd rather people say they miss him than the slanderous comments I've seen comparing him to an autistic child. Thanks for this one. I never owned this game but this is one of the first games I rented/borrowed and played to completion. My favorite power up has to be cook Kirby. It doesn't last but it is fun the few times you get it. The wheel is a close obvious second.

I really loved this episode. Jirard's comedic timing was really good. I am also happy to see Zan instead of Greg. I don't think he needs an immediate replacement but it was kinda nice. Love that Zan.
