That Christmas set is how I found Dashing Diva! I found them at Walmart as well and thought they were too cute to pass up. I hadn't heard of them and didn't really have high hopes for them lasting long. I was figuring on getting a couple of days out of them and wearing them for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. After looking for them here on YT I found tons of positive reviews. So I went back to Walmart (this was in November) and bought some "regular" colored sets. I haven't worn anything else on my nails since. I am obsessed! I now have enough sets to get me through the whole of 2021 (as least).

Right!? I don't think I'll ever use/recommend another nail strip other than dashing diva again! They also have some of the best designs (holiday or not) on the market (in my opinion!)

just bought these. Cant wait for them to come in. They look so adorable. My only complaint with this brand is that I have large nail beds. So i cant always use the accent ones on each hand. I wish they had a few extra larger sized accent ones

I agree I think a lot of brands need to make more accent nails in the medium/ large sizes. But you could always buy down a plain one first and then a small accent on top of it like I did for my pinkie (if you wouldn't feel like it was a waste or too much)

If you put a top coat on top of them they will last alot longer.....I love dashing diva gel strips....Just wish they would make them a little wider....

That's a good tip! I'm obsessed with them now - they are the best I've used yet. I got a Valentines day pack that had some bigger sizes but I think you're right the regular designs need some wider options.

Yes, I heard that from other people that the strips need to be wider . Thanks for the tip about a top coat. Do you use a base coat before you apply them?

I love the look of these! But they were hard for me to file off and use
@kirbyrosebeauty3 жыл бұрын
Filing the excess off can be a little tricky you really have to find a technique that works. I've seen some people on other brands trim off the excess first or even use a blow dryer to heat up the strip to make it more flexible to help with filing off

You can re-file your tips after you are done applying them to get rid of exposed edges. Cover my with Sally Hansen miracle gel polish to get extra wear on them. Not the heat lamp gel polish.

Mine didn’t even last a week! Much less 14 days 🤨

Oh that's no good! These Santa ones stayed on my nails a good long while (I ended up peeling them off before 14 days but they would have lasted much longer) The snow flake ones though did not last as long on my nails. They started to get gummy around the edges around 1 week.
