Used to have one of these...Great machine!!! My late Mum had a Kirby from 1963-64, red hand grip, grey bag with red Kirby logos all over the bag, and a red cord...unless I'm remembering that incorrectly from early childhood...Sadly, because my dad was NEVER handy around the house[civil engineer who was in charge of building coal fired power plants] Mum never knew to have her brush roll adjusted for wear....so she ended up thinking that her Kirby was a heap of junk!!! When I bought my Sanitronic I showed her what could've been done with the brush roll on hers and she was so surprised!!! She actually loved hers when it was brand new...Anyway, sorry for rambling....Wondering if from my description you could determine what model number that Mum's was...Thanks!!!

That is one cool machine i have the kirby g4 and i bought my mom the kirby haritage 2 legend since it is easy to push and i have the g4 which is awesome which is the best vacuum out there well one of the best im getting all the attachments wednesday i cant wait its a different color but as long as it fits thats fine
