At first I didn't really understand the relevance of the first few outfits and what was going on but as the parade continued I noticed the amazing détails, intricate cuts of the jackets ( Jacquetta Wheeler @2:03 ) , the skirts defying gravity ( @2:31 ) and crescendo-ing to some the most fabulous evening gowns ever. What a gorgeous collection. Of course customers had the outfits tapered down to their mode de vie but what exceptional pièces of Haute Couture they must treasure. 14 years ago already but they could still wear them today and amaze onlookers. Thank you John.

Its just jealousy lol. 90s and todays are completely different. My mother and aunt walked for many designers in the 90s and i understand how the industry has changed so dramatically. They even had relationships with Gianni and Salvatore etc, but today thats very unlikely to occur. They ere family back then, now its all your own. In the past there have been designer who made extravagant clothes that nobody would really wear but they still had a serious based behind it. Like thierry mugler for example Which some women really wear in real life. But most clothes here are ugly and unwearable. I wonder if they sale any of this non sens.

I always thought that of the Brazilian models (and later Trentini, tho that’s other story). She’s the one who success what the least related to the Brazilian era in early 2000s.
