Polina looks like Eva Longoria. :) It's sad they've split up but Polina deserves a partner who pays attention to and adores her. Kirill is unfortunately not only competing with other couples on the floor but also competing against Polina for attention, which isn't a good thing.

I love it. Polina is shining like a beauty and is perfectly in front enjoying the dance. She outshines the man every time he is a bit unruly and quick (Salvo is much more hard with Victoria, than Kirill with. Polina). A man must be quick and active to be a good cha cha cha, and Polina is a splendid woman who is queen. Kirill loves cha-cha, but is usually a bit less "aggressive" than here in expressing it. Music here is a bit aggressive. Next time he is different.

Helge cristopherson. I know Kirill can do little wrong in your eyes but take an objective look at this. He is far too much focused on showcasing himself and his own superb technical skills and precision that he renders her largely insignificant and she struggles to compete for the attention she deserves, because he takes it away from her too much and consumes to much of the oxygen in the room. This is not an occasional thing I see it alot and so do many others who comment on the same thing. Yes, a man should be quick but he should also never ever diminish his partner for any reason and Kirill does I'm afraid, even if you cant see it. To me and others this partnership lacks genuine chemistry and sincere connection although technical ability is first class.

@@joetesta3352 Sometimes the fact is more complex than you think. 1. His calm beautiful artistry in "I´ll Still Standing" (Elton John), Polina waking him up, they are interacting brilliantly. This is the jive show (in Moscow, Kremlin, 2016, that I love most from this couple. It is a SUPERB jive show.It is on Russian channels. Do you agree ? 2.The Newsky Ball 2017, rumba show, on Evgeny Smagin video channel. HAVE YOU SEEN IT ? HAVE YOU SEEN IT ? This shows a FANTASTIC HOT Polina DOMINATING the show, trying to eat Kirill in love. Hot like heaven and hell. Do you agree you haven't seen all of the past artistry and emotions of this couple ? 3. The same rumba, in different fashion, 2017 on EveryBody Dance Now. 4. The samba show in Kremlin same year as the "I´ll Still Standing" show. This shows Poiina dominating so much she even cannot stop after the dance and thrills the audience when dancing into the back stage (embarrassing the leaders). The enormous talents of this couple just have to be released. (I just try to complete your list of this couple.) I would even like to see him surprise and thrill the world by dancing Fred Astaire brilliant cha cha "Sway", Fred is a REALLY caring man for his lady and has some brilliant moves ready for use in cha cha today. Fred is NEVER self-indulging because he is feeling free to partnering. Kirill often is free. Sometimes he is not, like in the video above (CF cha cha to not his favorite music). Do you now better understand I believe in this couple ?

H.C. My opinion of this couple is based on the dancing I see from them now. If a couple change for the better then I will recognise and praise that. Polina has improved and developed into a stunning lady but Kirills partnering style has not changed for the better imo and he at present is not allowing her to shine the way she should. The past is the past, but as it is right now I don't warm to the partnership. If he gets this aspect of his dancing under some better control I could easily become a fan too, but right not I don't like what he brings to the dance floor as male partner. You are obviously hooked on their past. I'm commenting and my interest is on now. You keep heralding them a successors to R&Y. We'll see, but I personally don't see it happening whist he dances and partners the way he does. There are better more appealing partnerships out there. If there wasn't they would be achieving better results wouldn't they?. Now, do you understand why I struggle to connect with them as a partnership combination?

@@joetesta3352 But haven't you seen the NEW video from Dusseldorf Dancegalla that even Bobbycatt (on Marius Mutin, released just a week ago), praised to heaven ? This shows a good partnership. Can't you see this top new video rumba shows he is a good partner ? This is one of the most commented and wildly praised videos, and you haven't seen it ? Cant´ you see this is the past partnership becoming present and with sky-high quality ? Isn't Ketil here having "Slavik" quality ?

JoeT and HelgeC- Kirill is realy egocentric. Just saw their recent Paso . At the end he could not even finish the presentation properly. - I really felt they had great potential, but now I feel K is just too much, out of line. One thing that Joe said "that he (Kirill) renders her largely insignificant and she struggles to compete for the attention she deserves,". I don't really agree with that. Oh, I think he might be trying to attract all the attention, but he is not succeeding. Polina attracts the attention with her class attitude and dancing, her agility, her style, her funkiness, her soulfulness, her beauty. He does not take 'anything' away from her in terms of attention from the viewers, in my opinion. But clearly, he does not offer 2 important criteria to the couple: Trust and Connection. 2 important things. Polina would deserve to be with someone who is a great dancer but who is also more open and mature and more considerate and attentive. It would be just better for everything: for their performance, and for the viewers.

That poor girl I feel for her. He possesses fabulous technical and physical skills and doesn't he like everyone to know it, but a considerate and caring partner he is not. He is just so into himself she may as well sit down and not bother. Unless the dancing is judged purely on technical and physical meritm (and at times it appears it might be) I cant see them ranking any higher than they are now given the quality of current opposition. His over dancing and self interested ego is this couples kryptonite as far as I'm concerned. Frustrating because in so many ways they are exceptional.

@@makuletreg15 I heard this only today. I admire their skills alot but as a partnership it hasn't totally won me over. I wish them both success, but I truly believe we haven't seen the very best of Polina yet and not likely to dancing with kirill. I hope she finds the right partner to help her to fully explode into blossom and show us what she is fully capable of, because I believe there is so much more for her to give that's been repressed in this partnership.
