This may be the World Professional Latin Champions 2020. This rumba is excellent. With great feeling. He's keeping lady as the centre and the beauty. Polina dances beautifully and lovely. Really responds to him. He is not (not at all) overshadowing the beautiful lady, but dancing with feeling as a lover. Great connection and partnership.

Don't you have the feeling that Kirill doesn't really dance together with Polina? He barely looks at her. All focus is on himself and fans. He Wants to show not the beautiful Lady, but excellent him. I think that is a huge disadvantage.

@@BorisShirokikh I agree 100% with you.and I and many others have been telling him that for a very long time. I'm of some suspicion he may have a thing for guys and he is in love with Kirill as more than a dancer. He refuses to see any kind of fault in him. Not even glaring obvious ones like the one you point to here. They do say, and it's very true that love is blind dont dont they.

Kirill/Polina have danced the Rumba of their life I believe....but not too much, not too little...w/definitive actions in the process...Assen 2019...Dutch Open Championships Pro Latin....

Great technically, albeit somewhat over stylised for my liking and for me Kirill is too self interested and egotistical in Rumba. Rumba is the lady's dance and he should showcase her far more than himself. I see this in many of todays male dancers. I don't believe at all that the guys have to be just a frame as its referred to, but all to often they are taking up too much space in the picture and it greatly diminishes the lady to the point where it looks like two individuals fighting for attention, (usually with the lady loosing the fight) rather than a unified, connected partnership telling a beautiful rumba story. This is one of my main peeves with modern dancesport Latin style, especially rumba..

Agree completely. These guys need to realise who the asset is in this dance, and who the centre of attention should be. This lady is looking good. Much improved core and leg strength

Agreed. Kirill had no interest in his lady. No chemistry between them. Mainly to blame on the man.
