Kirill is a fool to let Victoria go. She provides stability to their partnership and that stability interestingly enough amplifies his creative expression. I could feel the chemistry in their dances by watching them on TV. It’s sad that their partnership ended abruptly.

Me too, and it’s such a shame that Kirill prioritized his pro-am girlfriend over Viktoria. Now she has no partner and though I understand why she’s angry she wasn’t prioritized, it’s a damn shame she isn’t competing anymore in the pro level. Salvo and his current partner are killing it in the amateur level.

Kirill is much more of a partner here, less egotistical. Vika is simply amazing, so sinuous, such beautiful shapes. No one can top her legs and feet. She's wearing higher heels, too. But Kirill is quite a bit taller than Salvo ... hmmm.

No, he is not. They used to say something similar about Slavik. I want to watch an actively dancing man with interesting movements and not only some passive boring "support for the lady".

@@cochlearruby Sure :) But good connection doesn't come so quickly/easily. He needs to improve that artistic dance part of relationship to the lady. I think he is slowly getting there. He's got the moves, now he needs to get the emotional connection ;)

@@DanceAffectionist When you are ranked as high as Number 4 pro in the world and have danced for as many years a Kirill has this should not be an issue and this crucial skill should have been well developed by now. Many were talking about the same thing with Polina and here we are talking about it again with Viktoria. He is an astonishingly good mover and technician but partnering skills is equally as immportantas techniques if not even moreso. He is at the very top of the tree and has to be compared to the very best, past and present and in the aspect of partnering he doesn't stack up against the very best. It continues to be a real weakness in his dance style IMO.

@@joetesta8754 Ok, ok don't be so harsh on him ;) Yeah, we all want someone as good or better than the "golden generation", another Allan, another Slavik, etc. but even better :) Well, I guess the technical aspect of the partnering is very good but the artistic/emotional part of partnering is what many are critical about. I just wish he continues to develop this weakness because he has a very charismatic sensuous partner for that. Overall, the man-woman image with Victoria is more attractive to me than with Polina. Also, we should not expect Kirill to transform into some Italian-style partner, i.e. he won't become like Salvo and doesn't need to do that (I say that because we tend to compare new and old partnerships).
