@69jesterhead Its not really useless, you gain distance and height in your throws and lose some control but then again you just want the ball to go in the box when doing throws like that so overall it is better than a normal throw for those instances, but for players with strong throwing arms they can just run it in so it is useless for them.

As far as I know, you must stand still with both of your feet on the ground and throw like that. You cant run and throw.

Can anyone please explain me why he does the flip? By doing the flip, the japanese team already knew where he was going to throw the ball, so they always catched it. So throwing the ball with the flip only made it predictable and less efficient.
